DH bought me a new purse for my birthday in mid-April. The handles are leather and the color is wearing off (they are teal). The purse wasn't cheap even with the F&F discount. They did say it has a 1 year warranty. Has anyone every used this?

Yes, I have. I took it to my local store and they sent it out for repair (the lining had ripped). It got repaired and then ripped again a week later.
I ultimately asked for a full refund which they gave me.
oh really? can I ask why/how? The handle on my brand new purse just broke (like, literally tore where it attaches to the purse) so I'm taking it to the store tomorrow to be sent off for a repair. H surprised me with it for my birthday, not sure how much he paid, but I'm pretty sure it was on sale.
I stopped in local store yesterday to see if they'd fix. They said yes, to bring it in. There was another person there asking about same thing on different style bag. The leather woven through the chain on the strap has come loose on both sides.
Quality issues everywhere these days. It's the Cobble Hill Penny, the first bag I've ever spent more than $50 on. None of my cheapie bags have fallen apart that fast.
I forgot to ask them if it matters that it was bought from Katespade.com. Anyone know?
Thanks girls. I love the bag, and I an not abusive. I feel that it will happen again even if they "fix" it. And by the time it gets back it will be time to store it for the fall/winter since the body is straw.

My sis bought me a bag from their outlet in Vegas. About a year later the strap broke. She brought it back to the store, no receipt, and they replaced it with no questions or issues.
Amanda- I have had endless CS issues with KS and when the lining tore twice on my bag at the same time that my credit cards kept getting stuck in my wallet because of the GLUE they used (instead of stitching) I had just had enough. I ultimately emails the head of CS asking for my money back on both products. She ended up giving me a store credit, which I have not used. I'm really fed up with their quality and customer service.
