I called my doctor at 5am and left a message then again around lunch time, its 3 pm and she hasn't called back. I have a fever of 101 and was running to the bathroom like every 10 minutes. My intestines are now empty, so that is much better and it's down to once a hour. I really wanted to know if there was anything I could take since I'm still nursing. Also I haven't been this sick on years. I'm so frustrated that she is non responsive.
She is a family practice doctor so the kids go there and she is great with them, I just hate that she is so unreachable at times. We are rarely sick, so we have only seen her for well visits.
Since my doctor doesn't care, MMM what can I take to make me feel better?

Sorry you're not feeling well and that your doctor isn't calling you. LactMed is your friend! It's the NIH database of medicine safety for nursing moms. toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/newtoxnet/lactmed.htm
However, if you're dealing with food poisoning or something viral, I personally wouldn't take something to try to 'stop' what's going on. Just let your body get rid of it. The most important thing is to focus on hydration and electrolytes. Peppermint tea can help soothe intestinal cramping.
ETA - that LactMed site is not the easiest to navigate for a layperson. Their smartphone app is better.

You should be able to do ale acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help bring the fever down. Ibuprofen is often harder on the stomach so I would start with acetaminophen.
Sorry you are not feeling well and dr did not call you back.
