MIL's niece was just diagnosed with advanced breast cancer while pregnant. Emergency csection at 32 weeks so they could start chemo right away. Very tragic, we are all sad and feel very badly for her. But MIL is now insisting that I go have a mammogram right this second. Because if I walk into a doctor's office and say, "Someone to whom I am in no way related by blood was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so please give me a mammogram even though I'm 27 and currently pregnant" is totally going to just say, "Ok, sure! Sounds like a great idea!"
