Day 16. Whole30 this time around has been a totally different experience. It's going by really fast, but almost every day I want to ditch the plan. I never do, but I always think about it. It's still definitely worthwhile, and I'm sure I will do a third one. It's a great way to reset my eating habits when my sugar demon gets out of control.
Day 16, feeling great! No purposeful slips (posted yesterday that I knowingly ate a bit of soy sauce and oyster sauce on Sunday night in order to not be a rude asshole, knowing that the amounts were small and the food was otherwise complianct).
Breakfast: Three-egg omelette stuffed with a few cups of spinach cooked in ghee, black coffee.
Lunch: Steak taco salad (lettuce, carne asada, bell peppers, avocado, radishes, pico de gallo, tomatillo salsa), raspberries.
I couldn't resist and stepped on a scale this morning. Down seven pounds from when I got back from vacation 2/27. But I don't feel hungry between meals! No cravings! Better sleep! I'm having a hard time not being a W30 evangelist.

Day31 - 1st day PostW30! I am so happy to have made it. I feel good! I have curbed my sweet tooth, kicked my milk in coffee "need," learned that oatmeal in the morning isn't always the best option, am allowing myself to be honest in saying I like animal protein a lot (from someone who ate very little meat), and have fallen in love with having all.the.veggies. I need to do research into reintroduction...any tips wambam? (I returned the book to the library)
I will have to weigh myself. I feel leaner but I don't think anything significant. But my skin looks great. I had an acquaintance ask me what I'm doing new with skin. Ha!
B: two eggs scambeled with red peppers and onions. black coffee
L: jar salad. spinach, grilled chick, roasted brussels sprouts and red onions, diced broccoli, homemade carrot ginger dressing from well fed 2. two clementines
D: braised green cabbage in ghee and (compliant) sausages from Trader Joes. apple with almond butter.
