What is baby/kiddo into lately? Everything He loves the pantry, dancing, playing music, grabbing our hands to lead us around, walks, cats, playing with our dog, reading to himself (babbling his way through books), eating whole apples.
How are you? Tired! I couldn't get to sleep last night, then J was up at 4. Overall, pretty well.
Share a picture! Bonus points for St. Paddy's cuteness Sorry, no pics.
He crawls but he's done that for like 2 months...only he is really fast all of a sudden. He also claps, shakes his head no, and puts his hands up when we say touchdown. He's hilarious.
What is baby/kiddo into lately?
Everything he can reach and some things he can't. This boy keeps me on my toes! He thinks the world is his oyster!
How are you?
Other than being completely miserable at work this year...pretty good!

I love the first one, it captures his personality perfectly. I know if we're facebook friends you've seen these but whatever. Cute pictures are cute.
How old is baby/bump? We are up to 4yrs, just shy of 15months, and 26 weeks along
Any recent exciting milestones? Not too many really, J is working on some more words, has started reaching up on counters for anything she can get, also she has discover door knobs.
What is baby/kiddo into lately? Everything. If it opens or she can get her hands on it then she wants it. Even better if you make a big stink about the object that makes her want it even more.
How are you? Today has been rough, but in general things are going well.
I was going to post a picture of the green doughnuts I made with choc glaze but I am far too lazy to go and get a pic
How old is baby/bump? 19 1/2 months...2 is getting closer and closer, yikes!
Any recent exciting milestones? Mostly it's language, more and more words, phrases, he wants to know the word for everything. Outside is his newest and b/c he knows what it means, he always wants to go outside. Oh, and he can say his name. If you show him a picture of himself, he says his name. So cute! He's also really into coloring. The other, not so pleasant, thing is epic temper tantrums, fits, throwing things. We're doing lots of time outs lately. And, he fights going to bed every night. This is new, and unpleasant.
What is baby/kiddo into lately? All things Elmo. Sitting in his highchair to hang out, color, etc., not just to eat. Tickling me. He loves baths and asks for them. He wants to get into all the cupboards. He's obsessed w/ shoes and always wants to have shoes on and wants me to have shoes on.
How are you? Tired! Every since stupid effing daylight savings, my kid's sleep has been awful. He used to sleep 7-7, straight to bed, no rocking, no crying. Now, he wants to stay up late, be held, he cries/screams when you put him down, he wakes up early. I've been trying some new tricks, which I've never had to deal with before. I was so tired at work today I had my dad pick up E from daycare (which he is happy to do) and keep him for a few hours so I could take a nap. And, I'm still tired!
Share a picture! Bonus points for St. Paddy's cuteness I didn't even take any St. Paddy's day pics. But, there is a very cute bow-tie and hat pic on FB.

How old is baby/bump? 3 1/2
Any recent exciting milestones? She just went through a huge developmental leap. Her language is more pronounced and she's more independence. She sounds different. She can dress herself which saves us five minutes each morning and nice. Man getting through the developmental leap was rough. Glad my sweet well behaved little girl is back.
What is baby/kiddo into lately? Everything princess and "space outer" lol
How are you? Surviving. Having massive working mommy and wife guilt this week. Work really sucks this week. I am hoping next week is better. It has to be though. My back hurts. Happy to have such a great day with my little girl.

How old is baby/bump?
M: 3 1/2 years old, which I still have a hard time believing. She is so funny and fun, but also exhausting. She is still whining/crying for things she wants or doesn't like, whatever. But we're getting better at reasoning with her and having her calm down before we'll talk to her, etc. But she is also helping more with chores, which gives her a huge sense of accomplishment, so we are using that tactic to have her 'earn' TV/movie time, or whatever she is excited about doing at that moment. Her vocabulary is exploding again, and she says some hilarious things. However, she's also wanting to do things 'like a baby' since B is getting lots of attention, so that's been... interesting.
B: He'll be 7 months on Monday, which I can hardly believe. We have his 6 month well check on Monday (whoops), and I'm kind of excited to see how much he weighs. I call him my 'elephant baby' since he's already in 12 month sizes, and probably weighs about 22lbs if I'm feeling things right. So, I essentially have a 7 month old the size of a 2 year-old. My arms are tired ALL the time.
Any recent exciting milestones?
M: Nothing super new, but we're slowly getting dry nights. She's dry with naps (yay!), but still randomly will have a wet diaper in the morning (cheaper than pull-ups!) and so we're still using protection at night. She's just such a hard sleeper that she doesn't notice.
B: Rolling over! He uses that as his main mode of transportation right now. If I'm not careful, he'll be across the room. He loves rolling over, twisting around, grabbing everything in sight (octopus baby!). He's been babbling (baba, dada, lots of raspberries), which is SO cute. He'll also just do sustained ahh which is funny because he'll look super serious while doing it. Also, he's got his 3rd tooth now, an working on a 4th.
What is baby/kiddo into lately?
M: Books! She loves reading, and the books she knows well she'll 'read' them to us because she has them memorized, which is super cute. She's very into routine at bedtime, and always wants to go somewhere after we pick them up from daycare. If we go straight home, she complains (she either wants to go to the store or something).
B: Um, pulling my hair? Trying to eat my face? We've been on solids for a while now, and he LOVES to eat. He's not super into avocado, but he'll basically eat anything you put in front of him so far. It was super cute when we went to Tutta Bella one day, and he was next to me in the high chair. He kept putting his hand on my arm to get my attention so I'd give him tomato sauce. SO cute.
How are you?
I'm tired. Really effing tired. Two kids wears me out SO fast. I can't wait until B is independently mobile and is sleeping better. I'm also trying to get a new job, because the one I have now is killing me (and my family) slowly. My kids are in daycare 12 hours a day/4 days a week, I'm up at 4:30am 4 days a week, not home until 6pm, and it's just too much. I need something higher paying, less hours (or better schedule), and a more flexible schedule where I'm not tied to a doctor the whole damn day. I'm looking for internal transfers first, but if I have to go to another company, I will.
Em is 2 and almost 9 months. She's really fun. She just got over a month long bratty toddler phase. She's been really pleasant lately. I just finally had her 30 month well baby appt and she's in the 95th percentile for weight 88th for head cir and 53rd for length. She's a solid and strong kid
She is really tactile and her excellent daycare teacher is trying to help her learn and experience the class trough better listening. Kids who are tactile learners always get pegged as bad kids it seems because they just don't learn as well through hearing and seeing, which is how almost all education is administered. Anyway it's exiting to me that she has a teacher who recognizes that early on.
She's sleeping in a toddler bed now and is pretty much fully potty trained now except during sleep.
She's a good helper in the kitchen and is helping out with some chores like clearing the table and whatnot.
I still experience many days when I know for sure I'm not having any more kids. Period! But she's still a good one
How old is baby/bump? bjl: 37 months boy: 17 months
Any recent exciting milestones? bjl: she's alllllllmost done potty training. there are nights when she flat out refuses a diaper, and we let her. some days she lets us put one on, and we do. she's dry about 6 nights out of 7...sometimes that means a wet bed. a couple nights ago, she woke up crying cause she wet the bed with no diaper on...we remind her that if she needs to pee she needs to tell us, or go pee herself..and she said it wasn't her, it was her brother. it was so cute lol. boy: i love his words. they are so freaking cute. he also alerts us when he farts...such a boy.
What is baby/kiddo into lately? bjl: she loves painting. we do paint with water, and she loves it... boy: he's finally starting to get into books. he can "read" for a little bit on his own now..but still only about 2 minutes at a time.
How are you? tired. so tired. one day, i'll catch up on sleep. not yet.
