So, I get what my sisters and I call "witchy-poo hairs" on my chin.
Yeah, they're whiskers. It's a thing. I've had them since my early 20s. My H thinks it's hilarious.
Generally I pluck. But lately I have a few that are resisting being pulled out and I end up with a sore because I'm also an obsessive picker and OMG WIRY HAIR ON MY CHIN GET IT OFF ME.
I have occasionally gone in for a professional wax, but they do lip and chin and I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE the feeling of my upper lip and neck having been waxed.
Does anyone have this problem? Do you wax at home? What do you use? Or am I doomed to pluck cause it would look weird to just wax my chin?

I get them, too. When I was sick (endocrine disease), my out-of-whack hormones caused hair growth on my chin. My endocrinologist said that once the hair starts growing, even resolving the disease would not make it stop.
For now, I pluck. I went to a laser removal consultation but was told I wasn't a good candidate (the laser looks for contrast between skin tone and hair color -- I have both pale skin and light hair, so no go). Tried electrolysis, and ZOMG pain.
I've considered asking about Vaniqua (prescription med that slows or stops hair growth) when I get health insurance coverage again.
I have these. I use this product about every two weeks. It's a hard wax which means that you don't need the fabric strips to take it off. It's also better at getting course hairs than the other kind of waxing. It's costs about $5 at the drug store or super market and I can get 4 waxing sessions out of a container. For any little stray whiskers, I pluck as needed.
I use this facial trimmer. It's super quick and easy. I've had it for about a year now, and I'm very happy with it.
Me too, it has worked great.
I have one similar that I got at Target, it's made by Phillips. I use it when I've noticed that it's been too long since I did any kind of facial-hair abatement. I also do some at-home waxing, using the strip-free microwaveable wax by Gigi. I get it at Sally Beauty Supply. Any time I get my upper lip waxed at a salon, I break out, regardless of the product used. I use this stuff at home, and apply an astringent right away, and I don't break out.
But mostly, I just shave in the shower. I just give it a few swipes with a razor (when I remember to, hence the trimmer), and it's gone for a while.
Have you tried threading? I have my eyebrows threaded because I can't do wax (retin A) and I know they do full face.
I was about to suggest this too (and I do it for the same reason Ms. A!). I had laser hair removal but my hair is tough and was like, nawl bish, we gon LIVE!
That hair trimmer thing someone shared looks like a good option. I may pick one of those up.

I've never had threading done, so I don't know? They're random, sporadic hairs. And they seem to pop up overnight.
