I'm going to ask my doctor about it on Monday, but there's a reputable acupuncture center near me that I spoke to. He said prior to 40 weeks, they will do a session to help soften my cervix and after 40 weeks will do a session to help induce labor. I'm pretty interested in trying it.
I haven't yet but have discussed it with my acupuncturist if it gets to that point.
What did they tell you/what did you learn? Just curious to know anything and everything about it. I made a tentative appointment for next Thursday, which is when I hit 39 weeks.

Um, I'm not sure what you are asking lol
Just like anything you get treated through acupuncture there are specific points that, when stimulated, will respond and address the specific body part/condition you are treating.
If I need if, they will stimulate them to induce.
I've been doing acupuncture for 10 years so I wasn't asking from a place of learning about it as much as asking if/when they could trigger me.
Ha, I've never really done it. I've done trigger point therapy with a sports therapist and H's uncle does acupuncture, but he's only done mini stuff a couple times.
What was the timing they gave you for starting it? When will they start and do they do different sessions based on softening the cervix vs. inducing labor like this guy said?
