Tomorrow working per usual, only 2 more Saturdays after this one though!! Tomorrow night I'm headed up to NH to see my friend for her birthday for dinner and game night, should be fun. Sunday I have to get an 8 mile run done in the morning and then volunteering at a race in Salisbury. I'm hoping I don't have to go into work either, it's looking better at the moment. Sunday night dinner at my dad's house. Have fun at the GTG everyone!!

Good luck with everything, RockNVoll! I hope the P&S goes smoothly, and you can get rid of must of your stuff easily. And I'm glad you finally have a plan in place for your husband to join you. June will be here before you know it. (Says the lady expecting a baby then for whom time is moving at both warp speed and a deadly pace , )
Sorry about the job scm1011. It just means something even better is coming, but I know how difficult it can be in the interim.
Tonight, my husband is meeting me in the Square for dinner. Tomorrow, I have GOT to clean out what will be the baby's room, because we've finally started buying things, including the crib/dresser.The good news is that we just painted the whole house last year, so at least we don't have to paint. I've basically been using that room as my closet/dressing room, so I need to purge and figure out where to put stuff I'm keeping. That will probably take up most of the day. Other than that, I'm hoping to finally finish off House of Cards (we've only watched the first 5 episodes so far), and nap.

scm1011, we're going to the Boathouse, because I really want mac & cheese. I haven't tried any of the newer places either. We almost always just end up at Charlies, Shay's, Orinoco, or the Boathouse. I was really bummed Garden at the Cellar closed - it was our go-to place for a while. I hope those guys open a new restaurant somewhere.
Happy Friday! Sorry I haven't been around here much lately. I've been so busy with work and school.
It's my birthday this weekend! I still have yet to make concrete plans for it aside from brunch with my roommates on Sunday.
Happy early birthday!!! I hope you end up with some really fun plans for celebrating! We should catch up; I'd love to know more about how things are going overall.
Thank you! I hope so, too!
Definitely! I miss you and want to hear all about what you have been up to. If you have time during your visit, I would love to get together. If not, we can email/phone/Skype/whatever you want.

Good luck with P&S RockNVoll! Here are good job vibes for you scm1011! And Happy Birthday, les! I'm going to legoland tonight. Whoopee. Tomorrow we have 2 kid parties. Sunday I'm going to brunch at Mistral for one of my best friend's 40th birthday. That should be great since it's kid free. Then we'll probably hang with friends in the afternoon.

Good luck w/ the selling and moving the Mr, RockNVoll. That's exciting. Has your husband started to look at jobs in London?
scm1011 I used to love Shays. When I worked in Harvard Square it was one of the few places that didnt give me shit about my fake ID
I am hopefully leaving this place in a few minutes, going to home depot to buy a few things, cracking open a beer when I get home, and demolishing our upstairs bathroom to get ready for the remodel next week.
I will tell you that not having to spend the weekend cleaning the house is a.mazing, heh.
Is your H still underemployed? If so, I'm sorry, and job hunting dust to him, too.
He is. The plan is for him to be a SAHD, at least for a few years. We figure most of his salary would go to day care anyway, and he's totally content to stay home with the baby. (He'll be much better at it than I would - I would lose my mind by day 2.) He also got approved for disability a few months back, so we've got a little more breathing room financially than we had.
Let us know what you are selling - you may get some GBCN takers!
I'm on the last day of spring break and I don't want it to end. I haven't been at work since 3/13.
I'll try to do that. Although most of you have seen the stuff downstairs and some of you have seen the upstairs (sorry, I didn't get around to doing a tour until some of you had already left) so if you remember anything you want let me know (minus the piano, cgpm ).
We are in the market for shelving units or a buffet for the dining room.
We have one of those IKEA Expedit bookcases and a couple of IKEA CD racks, but that's about it for shelving.
We have a really simple, small buffet in the dining room but I'll have to get you a picture. The listing photos don't really show it (and I assume a bunch of you went and looked at our listing, LOL).
Would love a photo of the buffet and I am definitely interested in the expedit depending on the color. I haven't had the energy to make an Ikea run yet!

RockNVoll partial DIY, part contractor. We did all the demo ourselves, minus the bathtub. We only have a 1.5 bath house, so if we ripped out the tub too early our showering situation would have gotten dicey for a while. The contractor is here for 3 days to at least do the tub install and then tile the floor and tub surround. If he has time on the 3rd day, we'll probably put him to work. The original plan was for him just to do the tile/tub install and we would do the vanity and toilet.
I am so pissed though. We started looking for vanities like a month ago. I found one I loved, but it was a bit more than we wanted to spend, so we kept looking. Go figure, ended up buying the original one we liked on Saturday. It has a 3-4 week lead time, so we're going to be without a vanity for a while. We should've just bought it in the first place.
My weekend was a bust. I had to work Saturday and Sunday so there really wasn't much of a weekend feel to it for me. H has been clocking in some long hours too so we haven't spent a ton of time together recently. April is shaping up to be about the same too with our schedules. I would love to just fast forward to May Ideally there would even be warm weather by then!
