Because I have to post this and I don't want to be the only bragger! Blake just sang the whole alphabet song! He definitely can't do it perfectly, but I am amazed that he got through the whole thing. vimeo.com/123451908
Callie has learned all of her letters and the ABC's too! She was watching Super Why the other day and was saying the letters before they did. I know some kids have been doing this for a long time, but she has had zero interest in it until recently. I am so proud of her!
Emmy gained a pound in two weeks! Haha. I felt the need to brag on her too!

I have to brag on my Dh. He's been so so awesome. He helps in the motn, is supportive during the day and this morning randomly brought home flowers just cause he thought I am doing such a great job with C. He totally rocks.

I already bragged on FB, but Peyton drew a stick figure all by herself the other day. I sort of walked her through it, but didn't point to the paper or help hold the crayon. Just said "where is the head? What about the body? And the arms?" She even added a smiley face and some hair.
And yes that is a paint chip. We were at my OB and that's all I had in my purse. Haha.
May knows all her letters but hasn't been able to write them yet. Well today she was drawing and said "look mommy I drew an A" and lo and behold she wrote a perfect A!

Oh! Wes told me they were playing with painters tape on the kitchen floor last night. He said she was able to make a triangle and square and even made letters! A, H, E, and F! I forgot to try it with her today, I'll have to see it to believe it!

There's a whole lot of hot mess in here - no pants on the kid, me in my gross workout gear, pink snuggie over the window to keep it dark for his 7:00 bedtime.
Wiliam has started doing peek a boo. And he "reads" books (turns the pages and babbles) I could burst wth pride he's definitely had some kind of mental leap this week

Graham can spell his name. He speaks in paragraphs, y'all! This from my essentially mute child at age 24 months. He knows his upper and lower case letters and counts to 20. My H is awesome and has really come into his own in parenting with the addition of Nora. He's been SO amazing with giving me time to myself and taking on toddler duty
L loves to go up to everrrrrryone when we are in a store and say " Hi, my name is Lukie. I show you my truck." He then proceeds to tell them everything they never wanted to know about trucks.
This isn't exactly a brag, but just a nice change. When I drive Kai home from daycare he acts like a teenager - totally quiet, not responding to questions about his day, maybe a little sullen. With the good weather we've been walking back, and he's SO much more talkative! I don't know why it's different, but I feel like I have a 3-year-old instead of a 13-year-old. It's nice because once he gets home, he just wants to play with his trucks and get into trouble. So I feel like the walk back is giving us some great time to connect that we didn't have when we were driving every day.
