I like that it's not the incendiary drivel HuffPost usually posts. But I feel like a lot of the frustrations she described are the frustrations of parenting a toddler, especially for the first time, not necessarily parenting two kids. I know few people who would remain totally zen with a kid who refuses to nap and then poops on the floor to boot, regardless of whether they also have a baby or not.
Good article. I like that it's not a click bait article for once! lol. I didn't have that experience with two but I can understand why others might. I wonder if it's one of those things where, if you have a hard adjustment with #1, your experience with adding number 2 will be comparatively smoother and vice versa. Are there people who have a totally smooth transition both times?

Knock on wood, but we've had fairly easy transitions both times. Both our boys are content, happy chill babies. One was fairly easy and two is way easier than I anticipated. It took DS1 about a fortnight to adjust.
We've had issues DS2's sleep at the moment, but overall, it's been really pleasant to incorporate both into our life.
