Perfume is my first love - my collection was insane about 10 years ago (probably 50+) but I've culled the herd. Now that rollerballs are the hot new thing, I feel myself creeping back up.
Favorite spring/summer scent? Favorite fall/winter scent? Favorite body splash/light scent?
What's on your must buy list? What perfume(s) would you buy if money were no object? Where do you shop?
Favorite spring/summer scent? I have been looking for a HG spring/summer scent for years, literally, years. The problem is that I prefer the heavier, vanilla based scents. I tried a sample of Monyette Paris last year and really enjoyed it....plus it's not too expensive.
Favorite fall/winter scent? Oldie - Dior Addict (original), Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
Favorite body splash/light scent? My friend got me Bobbi Brown Beach roller ball for Christmas - it's been very nice!
What's on your must buy list? I just recently bought TF Tobacco Vanille and I have lots of samples of his other Private Blends. The other two I love are Shanghai Lily and Champaca Absolute. I might save up for one of those two.
What perfume(s) would you buy if money were no object? Gosh, I have so many samples I'd purchase a full-size bottle of if money were not object - Tauer - L'air du desert Morocain, Byredo - Bal d'Afrique, Creed - Virgin Island Water are the first few that come to mind.
Where do you shop? Everywhere - Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Amazon, Lucky Scent and Perfumed Court (for samples)
The perfumes currently on my counter:
Chanel #5 (this was my grandma's bottle) Chanel Coco Dior Addict Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille D&G Desire Jo Malone Wild Fig and Cassis Bobbi Brown Beach rollerball

I'm not an addict, but it makes me feel bad because up till very recently a friend of mine worked at a fragrance counter. He used to send me samples... they're so nice, but I never really had the love enough to become a daily fragrance wearer.
My all time favorite: Arpege by Lanvin, mostly because my mom and grandmother both wore it, and to me it smells like going out, getting dressed up, and being glamorous.
Ones he's sent me that I really like: Jeanne by Lanvin (a beautiful light summery scent) Essence by Narciso Rodriguez (also fairly light) Prada (more of an evening, heavier scent)
I'm working my way through a whole bunch of Bond No 9 samples (I think he sent me all the NYC themed ones. They're so different from each other. The one I have on my counter right now is Little Italy)...
I should go through my bowl of samples and see if there's anything interesting.
...he's not selling fragrances any more, so no more samples for me...
My very favorite, and the only one I can wear to work (I have a CW who is highly sensitive to fragrance) is Clean's Warm Cotton. I'm not a flowery person at all, and that one is perfect. I like Cool Cotton as well, same brand.
I always wear fragrance, but I tend to only wear one at a time - meaning I wear one fragrance till I'm done with the bottle.
Alien by Thierry Mugler is my latest as far as fall/winter fragrances go. I'm trying to branch out from there, but haven't found anything interesting to replace it.
I love Jo Malone's Wood Sage and Sea Salt but it doesn't last long on me. Another favorite from Jo Malone is Nutmeg and Ginger (another of my fall/winter faves).
I need a good spring/summer scent. The Sage and Sea Salt would be good but again, the staying power isn't great.

I have three scents that I use, I have to be careful, because a lot of perfumes turn on me, and end up smelling foul or not as good when they react with my skin.
Just regular Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea is my "every day" wear. I don't wear it every day, but it's what I use when I feel like putting something on, and there's nothing special going on. Jean Paul Gaultier Classique is my go to when I'm going out somewhere Tom Ford's Black Orchid is my date night scent.
I pretty much only wear amber fragrance oil by Nemat. It's really, really, really concentrated so just a teeny, tiny dab is all I need.
It's the only scent that I have found reacts the best with my own skin chemistry. It's smells the same on my body all day (doesn't get powdery or sour smelling like some other scents do.) It's cheap, too. I bought a vial two years ago at WF and it's still going strong.
Favorite spring/summer scent? I have no loyalty. Right now it's a tie between Chloe and Elizabeth and James Nirvana White. Favorite fall/winter scent? Narciso Rodriguez for Her, though Tokyomilk Dark in Tainted Love is in heavy rotation right now. Favorite body splash/light scent? All of the Body Shop body mists - particularly Shea. I still have a fondness for the Gap Scents too - Grass and Om were just great. I'd love a reissue.
What's on your must buy list? I plan to add to my Tocca and Nest collection, and I'm really digging the Tokyomilk stuff too. What perfume(s) would you buy if money were no object? I would own all the Jo Malone. I also really want to try the Byredo perfumes but no one stocks them locally. Where do you shop? Sephora mainly, but have picked things up at TJ Maxx and small specialty shops.
ETA: My current super-special perfume is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. Loooove. I wear it only on special occasions.
I usually wear whatever I feel like on a given day: I don't really divide it seasonally.
My favorites are: Narisco Rodriguez for Her Gucci Guilty Elizabeth and James- both Black and White Givenchy Very Irresistible LaVanilla Vanilla Passion Fruit
I'm debating the Tokyomilk Dark..... sounds like I need it!
Favorite spring/summer scent? Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is in heavy rotation in warm weather. I love the original Juicy Couture -- for whatever reason it works really well on me. I deeply covet Tom Ford's Neroli Portofina; I would love to make that my new go-to.
Favorite fall/winter scent? Hypnotic Poison. Coco Mademoiselle. Sometimes Angel. Rarely, but sometimes.
Favorite body splash/light scent? I'm a sucker for B&BW's Hawaii line. Make me smell like the beach!
What's on your must buy list? I wear Amazing Grace a LOT, regardless of season. It's probably my most worn and most frequently repurchased scent.
What perfume(s) would you buy if money were no object? The Bond NY scents. And honestly, even though it's not a fortune, the aforementioned Tom Ford. I want it, but I can't justify the cost right now.
Where do you shop? Sephora, Ulta
Random aside: I am obsessed with Auric Blends perfume oils, specifically Egyptian Musk, Sandalwood Vanilla and Tea Rose.
gozf, I found the tiniest vial of TF NP on Amazon for $20. It's slightly larger than a typical tester tube. I couldn't justify $200 for a bottle, but $20? Sure, don't mind if I do!

This is good news! I got a sample at Sephora, and I am being SO stingy with it.
Favorite spring/summer scent? Bobbi Brown Beach and Margiela Replica Beachwalk (I'm really into beachy scents right now)
Favorite fall/winter scent? Joop! Pour Femme, Fracas or Christian Dior Eau Sauvage
Favorite body splash/light scent? Jo Malone Verbenas of Provence, Annick Goutal eau d'Hadrien
What's on your must buy list? The next one to buy on my list is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino
What perfume(s) would you buy if money were no object? I don't know, most fragrances that I am drawn to are fairly affordable. Maybe something from Byredo or Le Labo? Those brands are pricier than most, but still not completely out of reach price-wise.
I don't really divide my perfume colelction out into the seasons (though I probably should). I just wear whatever strikes me at the moment. My favorites are Gucci II, Stella, Jo Malone Nectarine and Honey Blossom and Freesia and English Pear, Tory Burch, Blvgari Omnia Coral
What's on your must buy list? I am on the hunt for something new, I am just not sure what yet. I am fairly picky. Where do you shop? Typically Sephora or Nordstrom.
