I just used up the last of my tinted moisturizer. (MY FIRST REAL EMPTY OMGWTFBBQ!)
It was Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Sheers. I liked it for winter, but I didn't love it last summer (yes, it took me over a year to use up a single tube of TM). It took kind of a while to soak in when my skin wasn't winter paper dry and made me feel like I had to really powder the shit out of it in order to not shine all over the place if the humidity was over like 12%. But this winter I liked being able to skip a step on less-makeup days and just use that as my main moisturizer and it worked like a dream.
So...are there any tinted moisturizers you love that are actually moisturizing (Tarte bb primer is my go-to not-quite-a-foundation - and I love it, but it's totally not moisturizing at all) but also are lightweight/soak in fairly quickly? SPF is a must.
I feel like this might be asking for a lot? Basically I want a lightweight moisturizer with SPF that is good for combo skin in the summer that just happens to be tinted.
And uhhhh...it can't be $40+. I ain't paying that to save myself 45 seconds in the morning.
It might depend on how dry your skin is (mine is extremely dry) but I haven't found one, and I've tried quite a few (most recently LM, clinique's BB, and theBalm).
Eta: when I've wanted moisturizing light coverage, I've mixed foundation with my moisturizer.

I want SOMEBODY to try the BB Cushion from Laneige.
Supposedly, the Asian companies' BB/CCs are actually more moisturizing, etc, than the American companies... the Laneige one is readily available (at Target) and is kind of beloved in the geeky beauty community.
I'm not sure if it's available in the US or not, but I love Marcelle tinted moisturizer. I've tried a ton, and it's my favourite. Plus it's pretty cheap compared to the make up I usually buy.

I know this makes me sound like this woman -
but taking both products out of the cabinet just sounds like a hassle when what I'm trying to do is simplify for my super lazy days. And since I don't use any sort of traditional liquid foundation - I'm not sure it really works for me anyway - moisturizer mixed with my tarte bb sounds slippery? I dunno.
I use The Balm's, but on most days, I need to use a thin layer of other moisturizer underneath because my skin is super dry. But if I lived in a warmer, more humid climate, I could probably get by without the extra layer.

I use it and LOVE it! It's $34, but you get the compact and 2 cushions so it's actually only $17 each.
It's very moisturizing, covers great but doesn't look "make-upy". I don't use the sponge to apply it, though. I bought a foundation brush and that works much better for me.
