It used to be never.
A few things got me started washing them more regularly: 1) Starting to use BM foundation, which meant I had & used more brushes and 2) buying my first palette (N3) and not wanting all the colors to pile up on the brushes and mingle whenever I used them and 3) actually buying nicer brushes that I care about, lol.
I try to do weekly, and often it's more like bi-weekly. I use baby shampoo.
Monthly...ish. I need to wash more regularly. I use Dr Bronners in Lavender.
I bought that Dr. bronners and am waiting until my other one runs out.
I wash my beauty blender with it daily and it smells so good when I use it on my face. The other brushes don't really smell like the soap when they dry.
I think I have washed my brushes 4 times since MUT 1.
Yeah. I started out strong, washing often, maybe every week or two at the beginning. I was spraying my stippling brush. With alcohol and rinsing every few days when I was using it to apply foundation every day, but now I use my fingers for that, so it falls in the gross category now.
Then regular cleaning faded out.
I'm pretty sure I've washed my Sigma brushes once, well, the ones I got in October. I don't think I've washed the Christmas ones.
Is this gross? Probably. It is a pain. And they take forever to dry though, sometimes longer than a day.
Twice a month. I use Dr Bronner's. But I bought the bar soap and cut it. Placed it in a short twist top jar. And then I can swirl the brush on top of the soap.

Pre MUT I maybe washed my brushes once a year? Maybe less. So post MUT me is actually doing better. Ha. Hey I even bought a brush cleaner and everything.
I actually washed mine today. They were pretty grody.

I didn't have brushes to wash pre-MUT. I used either my fingers or the things that came with the junk from CVS that I was buying.
Probably once every two weeks, although since I work with a lot of bright/dark colors on my eyes, I wind up washing my blending brushes more often just because they get dirty so quickly.

I wash my foundation brush daily, but the others... almost never. I was using the elf brush spray, but it smells awful. I need to more often, because the amount of gunk that comes out of them when I do get around to washing is appalling.

It depends on the brush. Most of my eye brushes I'll wash every two weeks. Foundation and concealer every week. Powder and blush, probably not often enough.
I have Sephora's daily spray and their monthly wash. I don't use the daily spray but maybe once a week. I do try to wash all brushes at least once every couple of months. I like both products.

I wash my eyeliner and foundation brushes daily after I use them with either Bare Minerals brush cleaner, or the hand soap I have on the counter. The powder brushes are more like once a month.
The only brush I use every day is a short angled brush on my brows (I apply everything else with my fingers), so I really only use brushes when I'm going out. Since it's not too often I wash them after every use. I use Dr. Bronners, but I got the Beauty Blender bar soap when it was a point perk at Sephora and I've been using that lately. I put it in an old cap of a moisturizer jar, which makes it a lot easier to use. On trips I've used face cleanser wipes.

Pretty often- every week or every other week. I use the Beauty Blender solid cleaner for my blender, but I usually just use my face wash for my other brushes because it's cheaper.
I got this brush egg from Amazon for $5 and it's a life changer for me. It makes it super easy and fast.
