Gah! Someone (H) took the broom out to the garage

Luckily he's out and can go buy a new one. He doesn't get why this is gross. Am I being ridiculous? Garage floor and kitchen floor require different brooms, right?

I think so. We have porch brooms and garage brooms. I don't typically sweep the kitchen- just vacuum.

We also have a porch broom. And now we have three garage brooms. Oy. I'm glad I'm not overreacting. I'm not the neatest person - clutter reigns in our house - but filth drives me nuts.

Not ridiculous. We have an inside broom and an outside broom. If the inside broom is used outside it gets demoted to outside broom status. I also have a system for sponges. I literally have OCD (diagnosed) so I may be a little wacky about that kind of stuff.

I never knew this was a thing. We have a big broom outside for the porch and garage. I guess our inside broom only gets used for things like broken glass. Everything else we dust bust or vacuum.

We use the same broom for the garage and outside (mostly for the driveway up to the garage) but not indoors.

We have an outside and inside broom. I freaked when my H tried to bring the outside one in to clean up glass. I also have a weird system for sponges and he hasn't picked up on it yet. I've written on my cleaning sponge that that's what it is. The baggie it goes in with "cleaning sponge" is not enough sometimes. Maybe I'll do that with the brooms too...
