Wednesday MU randoms

Anyway, I just picked up another Laura Mercier Into the Wild set at the Rack (to leave at work) and I was gushing about it so much when she was checking me out, I convinced her to buy one,lol.

Two quick questions about Sephora:
1. If I want to return something (barely used) but don't have the original packaging or receipt, will they take it?
2. If I want samples of some perfume, do I just ask one of the salespeople?

Just stopped into my local TJ Maxx. They had a couple of LE MUFE shadow palettes - one smoky shades and one brights.

I am wearing In A Pickle from ColourPop for the first time today and it is PINK. Not pink, PINK. I don't know that this is my best color, but it works with my black turtleneck. Very summery.

I don't understand some of the ColourPop names. A pink shade called In A Pickle; a blue shade called Taco; a purple shade called Cowboy; a white shade called Acorn; a pink shade called Olive.

Is this sort of new-fangled, post-hipster irony?

I grabbed some Wet n wild kohl eyeliners today and maybelline color tattoo today because of the drugstore thread. If I hate it all, I am only out ten dollars. That is a weird feeling. Sephora has really skewed my perception of what is a reasonable price for items.

I feel inspired to try more colourful eye shadow looks. I need some tutorials to watch or something. I feel like they always fall flat on me. Maybe I'm too light handed with the application.

LOL I meant the eye look was summery. The black turtleneck definitely was not.

The swatch picture made me LOL. My favorite time to go over to Ulta is before I pick my kids up from school and today I showed up at the school with super-bright swatches all over my hand (I was looking at some of the Nyx colors that are similar to the Electric palette). 

Most of the time I carry a package of baby wipes in my purse and those really come in handy for dealing with swatches.

For #1, they will take it, but they get your license info to track your returns.
