Rather than repeat in the various threads, these are my most commonly used products for a natural work look. This is the order I use them in:
Moisturizer/primer-- Origins VitaZing* Eyeshadow primer- love Nars*, but UDPP* and Too Faced* are good too Foundation- Givenchy Photofinish* Concealer (for zits, under eyes, dark spots)- Miracle Skin Transformer treat and conceal* Bronzer- I use a LE Dior bronzer that is no longer for sale. I recommend bronzer even in the winter-- but one that is not much darker than your skin tone. It should not be obvious you are wearing any. Blush- my favorite now is Nars Exhibit A*. It looks scary bright in the pan but applies like a flush and looks natural on. Setting powder-- I either use MAC Mineralize SkinFinish Natural, but I am out of it, so I am using Colorscience Mineral SPF loose powder. I prefer MAC but I'm trying to use up stuff. Colorscience is available at birchbox Eyeshadow- Naked palette* - half baked and smog. I use MAC brushes 239 and 217 and I think the brushes really make a difference. eyeliner- I alternate since I have a million, but my favorite now is Bobbi Brown's gel pencil* in Hunter green (very very dark green, almost brown) Mascara- I alternate, now using a free sample of DiorShow.* lipgloss- whatever is around.
Whew. I think that's it.
*can be found at Sephora.com. Can't make promises about the stores
The miracle skin treat and conceal is amazing. I bought it with my birchbox points. Still prefer erase paste for my dark circles, but love that for everything else.
No. I don't use that much bronzer, I apply it lightly to my cheeks and forehead. I need foundation to even out my skin, and bronzer makes me look alive.
