Colourpop: bad customer service so far >:(

They sent me the wrong order, someone else's. 

I emailed them to tell them.  

They requested a picture of what was sent and the packing slip.  Sent it immediately to them. Days ago.  Never replied. Still haven't shipped my order.  Not telling me what to do with the other stuff which is colors I don't like even if I get to keep them for my trouble, lol.

I'm extra annoyed because I placed a second order when IIOY posted the flash sale the other day.  

I really think  I need to stick to Sephora and Nordstrom because every time I try something new (like Sleek), I have a bad experience.

Also, when they emailed me to request a picture, they started their email "Hi hun!"

They have very very slow response time. I had an order missing a shadow. And it took 3 weeks before I got the replacement. And I hate the cutesy message and greetings they give too.

Now I have an order that my PayPal says is paid and complete. Yet next to my order on their website there is a pay button. And it hasn't shipped while the other order I made shipped.

I think I'll be taking a break after these orders come in.

I think pixy0stix is still waiting for that damn Sleek order.  

I tweeted at CP a few weeks back when I was trying to place an order and their website was being a dick, and they never responded.  They are too small a company to be ignoring tweets already.  

I honestly think they have grown far too fast for what they can handle.  Things were humming along and then they sent samples out to all sorts of folks on YouTube.  Suddenly they were deluged with orders and just couldn't keep up. I've seen random tweets from them about how quickly they have grown, and if you read in between the lines, they are basically pleading for patience because growth has spiraled beyond their control.  I saw the same thing happen to Morphe after Jaclyn Hill talked about them, although they have almost zero social media presence.  I actually had to use a telephone and talk to a live person there.  ::gasp::

They probably need to stop rolling out new products and specials until they get their house in order.

I remember that thread.  I haven't read through it in a while, but my recollection is that some people had way too much time on their hands and probably need to replace the tinfoil hats they've worn out. I mean, I don't think ColourPop is a front for drug runners or puppy-killers, and the fact that all their legal paperwork can't be found by internet snoops doesn't really tell me much.  

The Reddit board has a hate boner for CP, though, because apparently there were posts all over Reddit raving about CP for a while.  Folks there are convinced that many of the posts came from company employees posing as posters.  Now almost any discussion about CP gets downvoted.

I'm embarrassed that I know this much, but this is what happens when you scour the internet for product reviews and wind up falling down a rabbit hole.

This is everything on Reddit! From makeup to Serial to the Boston Bombings! Someone posts some BSC theory based on what may be a true fact and then a whole gaggle of them run with it as if the theory is legit and the crazy theory grows and grows and grows.

You mean like how you can type in the name of a product you know exists because you actually own it and the website tells you it doesn't exist? Or how you can complete the checkout page repeatedly but the site will keep telling you that you haven't provided your name or zip code or some other basic piece of information that you are staring at while being told it's not there?

LOL YES.

Sometimes, I'd enter in a product that I know exists, and I'd get a result. Except it was something else entirely and that word appeared nowhere in there.  

Hmmmmm.....is this more evidence they are a front for a drug operation? Because whoever designed that had to be on something.
