That LM palette that bluelikejazz linked looks like the same one from 2 Christmases ago at Sephora. I have it (and maybe forreals) and it's lovely.
I have it thanks to kittycatlove and I LOVE the colors in it. If she hadn't so kindly passed hers on to me I would be snatching that up in a hot second. I used to look at it so longingly but it came out before my makeup love began.
I also have it. I like it but don't love it, but think it's still a great palette.
My only palette currently is naked 2. This looks like a nice compliment with a bit of color, but still fairly neutral. Is there a better palette I should look at instead?
I think it's just that a couple of the purples are too cool for my taste/coloring. I did just use Kir Royal and African Violet, which are the two I use most. I think it's a great palette, I've just found over time I don't use it as much as I thought. It's more of a supplement palette than a standalone one, if that makes sense.

What's your coloring?
That makes sense.
I'm cool with pink to neutral undertones. I wear tons of purples and pinks.

Ok, listen up. You really do need the LM Artist palette. I bought it 2 years ago at the fall sale. One of the single best makeup investments ever. The colors are gorgeous. On the skin, they read true to how they look in the pan. Good pigment, and the sweetest texture for blending. Hands down one of my favorite products.
BUY IT.
eta: for clarity, it was the same palette 2 years ago, and they gave brought it back.
New products: Laura Mercier Eye Art Artist's Palette BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal MURAD Oil-Control Mattifier
I also want to get the Cover Fx drops, but need to go into the store to find my shade.
Repurchasing: GIORGIO ARMANI Eyes To Kill Waterproof Mascara LIVING PROOF Perfect Hair Day Shampoo LIVING PROOF Perfect Hair Day Conditioner LIVING PROOF Perfect Hair Dayâ„¢ 5-in-1 Styling Treatment URBAN DECAY Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Okay. I have a final list ready for my Sephora trip tomorrow. I decided I could live without Maracuja Oil and the Sugarpop palette. I think maybe bright eyeshadow just isn't really my style.
I have a ABH dipbrow, TF melted, and something else I need to return this week. I'm excited since I'm trying not to shop! Now I don't feel bad about getting a couple things when I stop at the mall this week!
I missed signing up for the thing and showed up around their normal opening time and they gave me a bag of samples, but I haven't had time to inspect it yet.
Update: I think it's just a bunch of fragrance samples. Lame. I can't be sure though because there was nothing in the little striped bag but here was a separate envelope full of the samples.
No Sugar Pop in the store. They also didn't have the new UD blushes. They did have the Melted Metallics. I tried a few shades and hated all of them. They were thin, patchy, and made my lips look shriveled and dry. Boo.
I tried the UD Revolution Sheer lipsticks, which was not a product I had heard of. Loved these so hard. Great option if brights scare you. I bought Anarchy, which is a sheer bright pink. The formula seems great, sheer and glossy, but super pigmented. I am going to see how this wears, but I may be investing in a couple more shades, because I also loved Rapture and Fame (heyjude this is a super wearable orange)
My store has a new Becca counter and I want all the things. The stock was heavily depleted by the time I got there at 10:15. I want more than what I did buy but I'm still undecided because seeing them all in person really complicated my decision making as they are all so stunning.
I thought the gift bag was decent. I like the bag and there's a full size Formula X polish in a great color. Shampoo and conditioner foils are among the only kind of foils I really like, and the ones in the bag are good.
