Here is my haul...all the things on my list. I wanted the version of the Fresh Sugar that had roses printed on the tube and the website said they had it in store, but I didn't see it my desire for it was outweighed by my desire to not talk to anyone. I would say that this is all I'm buying, but pretty sure I did that in October and it was categorically false. So we shall see.
No Sugar Pop in the store. They also didn't have the new UD blushes. They did have the Melted Metallics. I tried a few shades and hated all of them. They were thin, patchy, and made my lips look shriveled and dry. Boo.
I tried the UD Revolution Sheer lipsticks, which was not a product I had heard of. Loved these so hard. Great option if brights scare you. I bought Anarchy, which is a sheer bright pink. The formula seems great, sheer and glossy, but super pigmented. I am going to see how this wears, but I may be investing in a couple more shades, because I also loved Rapture and Fame (heyjude this is a super wearable orange)
My store has a new Becca counter and I want all the things. The stock was heavily depleted by the time I got there at 10:15. I want more than what I did buy but I'm still undecided because seeing them all in person really complicated my decision making as they are all so stunning.
I thought the gift bag was decent. I like the bag and there's a full size Formula X polish in a great color. Shampoo and conditioner foils are among the only kind of foils I really like, and the ones in the bag are good.
I had forgotten I wanted to check out those UD sheer lipsticks until I read this. Damn it.

I had the same problem - I thought they were very patchy. I tried Debutante (made me look very washed out) and Tutu. I still ended up buying Tutu though.

I've had Anarchy on four hours now, which included a walk with the dog, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a couple glasses of water. It stayed mostly opaque for a couple hours, and faded evenly into a nice stain.
And it didn't leave noticeably gross marks on my water glass, which makes it a winner in my book.
I will buy another. Slow burn was the Orange one I liked, not Fame, which is not a shade in the line. I have been getting bored with my Bite collection so I'm happy to have found a new summer love.

I just bought Rapture in the original revolution formula and am now wondering if I should buy the sheer version too and see which one I like better when they get here.
ESF the regular revolution lipsticks are my HG so I'm glad to hear the sheers are good too. Well, maybe I am not since that means I will need to buy at least one.
I swatched a bunch today. The pressed were definitely the most shimmery. They were also gorgeous. I liked them the best, but I wound up getting a poured because I've not had good luck with powder highlighters. Cream ones tend to look better in my dry skin.
I got a liquid one to mix with foundation too.
I want a second poured and my first hasn't even arrived yet.
Gosh darn it, ESF! I went down the sheer lipstick rabbit hole and must get some! Sheer shame looks gorgeous!
You need some! I wore Anarchy out for dinner with friends tonight. Messy pork sandwich and a couple drinks at a casual place. Lips looked great when I came home three hours later.
This is officially my new favorite formula. I will be talking about it nonstop for a while, I'm sure. Brace yourselves!
Hypothetically speaking, if I were to go back to Sephora today for a mascara mini and happened to fall into a rack of the UD lipstick sheers, what color would I want to accidentally buy?

I can only speak to how Anarchy is performing. You like bright pink - you should give it a try! The sheerness makes it a great, casual bright pink.

I think I want Streak, except I feel like I always gravitate toward the same colors. However sheer Streak is what I was imagining the tarte Fearless lipsurgence to be when I bought that last year. I went to Sephora and swatched several of them but I was overwhelmed by indecision and left empty-handed.
Relatedly, I'm also starting to feel like I need to clear out some of my lip stuff that I never wear just so I can keep track of what I have.

I organized my lip collection into four categories:
1. Bite brand. I have a bunch of duos from a gift set I bought, so I couldn't separate most of them.
Or if anyone has any similar, yet better product recs?
I have the Tarte skintuitive and also have the Givenchy lip balm that adjusts and It Cosmetics lipstick and balm that adjust (I clearly have a problem) and the Tarte one is my least favorite. The It Cosmetics are my faves but the Givenchy one is really close and Sephora has it. The tarte one is really light and doesn't do much for me.

is the tarte the energy color that goes to a perfect pink? Because it's my favorite the last 2 months. It's moisturizing and unlike anything else I have. So yes.
I tend to love lip stains over lip gloss/sticks and this even turns into a pretty stain
Yup! The Energy one that supposedly gives you a "personalized" shade of pink. I'm kinda skeptical of that claim, but it can't be as bad as the "mood lipstick" I had in high school. lol
