I split up my orders to be able to use multiple codes to get the freebie deluxe samples.

But with the sale, the 15% is the code that we can use. So there's no reason to split up into multiple orders unless for some reason you want more foil samples.

I think that's happened when people have placed multiple orders in 1 day. I've only done that once, but there have been times when I've placed orders on consecutive days and nothing happened. It was also usually just because I found multiple things I wanted and just didn't see them all at once, not because I was trying to get more samples.
