I bet it is Arizona. In the shot of everyone on the plane it seemed like it lingered on her a little longer than necessary and the fact that she took the spot of Karev at the last minute... Karev will feel guilty so he'll stay at Seattle. Just my guess. Quite frankly though; I wouldn't mind if April died. She bugs me.

Callie nearly dies in a car accident, Arizona (potentially) dies in a plane accident. Hopefully their kid will have Mark's luck. However many seasons in, and the worst thing that's ever happened to him is a broken penis.
I think that April won't die. She'll end up getting a position at Seattle Grace because someone died. Then there will be a long drama story about how she feels guilty and someone had to die for her to get a job.

April isn't beloved so I don't think she is going to die. I could absolutely see someone dying at Seattle Grace and everyone surviving the plane crash. Someone like Callie perhaps? There certainly was a ton of foreshadowing with Arizona's "don't leave me line." And she would be beloved.

I just finished watching, and HOLY SHIT (are we allowed to use the ACTUAL swear words on this board?). I know that people don't like it when they rely on this kind of plot device, but I love me some angst and drama, so I can't wait until next week!

Ooh, totally agreed!
I didn't see the crash coming at all. I'll totally be pissed if they end the season with a huge cliff hanger.
and how amazing was Meredith and Derek's house? no way in hell would I leave that!
Right? I got so pissed at Derek for saying they were leaving! Listen asshole, if you didn't have a job out there, you wouldn't be pushing for this! It's Meredith's decision.

But I LOL'd at "Mark would buy the house. His dreams have always been my dreams."

didn't the creator say it was a beloved charater who dies and that everyone was crying when they did the first read of the script. Yes, it would be sad if April died but I don't consider her a beloved character.
I agree with the guess it will be Arizona. Too much foreshadowing with her asking Callie to never leave her. Did we get a firm head count of who was on the plane? I had to run and take care of my screaming 11 month old so I missed seeing exactly who was on the plane.
I agree with this 100%. It seemed like there was a ton of foreshadowing.
I didn't see the plane crash coming at all, but I kind of rolled my eyes when it happened. It's almost TOO much - after the shooting at the hospital, the ambulance crash with Mer and Karev, and everything else.
I was kind of WTFing Bailey's boyfriend, though. He proposed to her and then was like "Never mind - I'm leaving!" I guess I'm confused as to whether he was still proposing or was taking it back. Is anyone else more clear on this than I am?
I'm really tired of Grey's over-the-top events. I guess every now and then you have to get them out of the hospital to change it up but this is just too much.
Not that I liked it when George died (he was my favorite character) but his death was creative and it shocked the audience. If someone dies in this plane crash then that isn't really shocking.
Out of everyone on the plane, the "beloved" characters have all signed new contracts.
I was NOT expecting the plane crash. How many horrific accidents can these people be in??? I was thinking Kepner was going to be drunk and run across and street and get hit by a car or something, but now I don't know who dies. I'm leaving towards Arizona, though. I also fully thought this was the last episode, and I was trying to figure out how they can tie up all these loose ends as the minutes were ticking by.
Loved Derek and Meredith's house, and while I think it is partly her choice where to go, they are a family and need to find something that meets both of their needs. I did think Derek's remark and Sloan wanting all of Derek's dreams was hilarious.
I really liked how the chief was trying to help out Karev. He can be a jerk, but he seems like a super dedicated and great peds surgeon. That was sweet when the chief said this is what it feels like to be the star, or something like that. But even better when Cristina said she was "100% surprised" that Hopkins wanted Karev at all.
Any idea where I can see the previews for next week? I watch on Hulu, so now I'm super curious about what's going to happen.

I hadn't considered this but I think you might be on to something.
I was surprised that they had all the dr on one plane.. Obviously it's a show so they need the drama. But companies won't send CEOs and other top execs on the same planes so I was annoyed that they put all the dr on one.
But yeah I hope it's not Avery who dies. I willbe sad
