Hi Guys! I know we have a few moms on here that live in my area. Does anyone have a good pediatrician they like in the Burlington/Woburn area? I thought we were limited to a few drs but my H called the insurance and turns out we have more options than I thought! I'm leaning towards the HVMA in Burlington just because it is convenient but will take any recommendations in the area. Thanks in advance!
No recs in your area, but consider hours and night/weekend availability when choosing where to go. I put up with crap for way too long, and changing to a more flexible practice has been life changing!
We go to Woburn Pediatrics and have had a great experience with everyone there. We've seen multiple MDs and NPs in the practice and they and the office staff have always been great. It's a big practice so has been easy to get same day and weekend appointments. Even with it being so big I feel like we still get personal attention from the kids PCP, when we've seen other providers for sick visits they have made a point of reporting back to our PCP what was going on and he has made further recommendations for the kids care. They also have nurses there to answer any questions you have without making you feel silly. They can also do blood/lab work and even xrays all in the same office building.
We also go to Woburn Pediatric and, like PP, we have had a great experience with everyone there. They have an on-site lab, which is especially good when they need bloodwork. And if they ever need an xray or other imagining, there is an imaging center in the same building (which was really convenient when DS's doctor wanted to confirm whether DS had pneumonia - we went downstairs, got the xray, and then went right back upstairs). Love the staff and love the one stop health care.
We go to HVMA and love it. The hours are great and we have been very happy with our doctor and all of the staff that we have seen. They also have an LC on staff which is great of you ever need any bfing help.

We do HVMA in Chelmsford and just got a referral to the dev pedi at Burlington.
I delivered at Winchester and my inpatient/newborn pedi was someone my OB chose out of that area, but I (we) only saw them post delivery. I can look it up if you like.
We go to Pediatricians Inc in Winchester. I adore our pediatrician. Each well visit she sits down with us and talks about any concerns we have and really takes the time to get to know our kids. I have never felt rushed or dismissed and it truly is a conversation. I've seen several other Drs for sick visits and liked them too.
They have weekend hours for sick appointments and I have never had an issue getting a same day sick appt. This is huge for me because with 3 kids I was there a lot this winter for sick visits.

We just decided on them, based on my OBs rec and the online reviews we found. I'm glad to hear you like them! Which doctor do you see?

We see Sonia Inacio. We had originally selected Scott Schluter but we saw Dr Inacio a lot in the hospital and she really went above and beyond with us. I also really liked her style. Dr. Schluter was great but he tends to do most of the talking whereas with Dr Inacio it is truly a back and forth conversation which I really appreciate.
Thanks, @awinter! We blindly picked Schutler, but figured we could always change once we're in there if he doesn't really seem like a good fit.
That's exactly what we did. It's very easy to switch if you want. Schluter has great reviews and is very knowledgeable. I also really like Ayanian and Vitale. And Dr. Sullivan is great at diagnosing rashes lol. Seems like an odd thing but it will likely come up at some point and she seems to know them all! The only Dr. I didn't love was Fortin the first time I saw her for a sick visit. But I saw her again a few weeks ago and I liked her better. She just isn't as warm.
Eta: and I adore Becka (sp?) At the front desk. She is so sweet.
We go to HVMA in burlington and have been really happy with them. Can always get a same day appointment if needed, 24 hour advice line, open late (until 7 I think) a couple nights a week. You can get urgent weekend appointments but have to go to Chelmsford or Peabody- I've really appreciated that the couple of times we've needed it. There is a lab and pharmacy on site.
My boys specialists are all at Children's in Lexington. I've loved everyone I've dealt with. Not sure if they do basic peds though...
I don't believe so but Children's is great should anyone ever need a specialist. We are very fortunate to have such great pediatric specialists here. My son sees an ENT at Children's and all 3 of my kids see an allergist at Childrens.
