My skin does this only with certain brands.
How long does it take to oxidize? You may want to buy a shade or two lighter and a different color so it oxidizes to your natural skin color, even if it looks wonky when you're applying in the morning.
It's a frustrating problem!
ETA: Sorry, I now see you say "by noon". So half the day you look weird - either too dark or too light (if you changed to a lighter one preparing for the oxidization). How annoying for you.
I have the same problem with some foundations and I have no idea what causes it. Benefit and Dior are the worst and will turn me into an Oompa Loompa by lunch no matter what I put under it.
I have the oxidation problem too. There's something weird with my body chemistry that is causing it and I'm not sure what it is. I used the same exact skincare routine, moisturizer, primer, foundation for a long time and it never oxidized. It suddenly started happening with pretty much every foundation I use. It's super frustrating. It happens less with some foundations than others, so I stick to those ones.
Google tells me you can try an apple cider vinegar toner (2 parts water to 1 part ACV), or a finishing powder. The ACV helps with acidic skin, the finishing powder acts as an additional barrier against air.
