lol.
DS (3.5) is really into eggs (dinosaur eggs, bird eggs, etc) so he's always digging in the fridge and getting out eggs to carry around. I finally hard-boiled a bunch and stuck them back in the carton because I was sick of the messes he was making.
He's also spooked by the dark and turns on all of the lights in the house, even in the daytime. Of course he freaks out if we try to turn them off.

These days DS (3.5) is pretty fresh, so I'm majorly over all his back talk. Another irritating this is he does a baby talk voice that annoys me and I make him repeat himself in his regular voice when he's talking to me.
I get asked a million questions a day. What's that? Where is ______? Every time I cough or clear my throat my he asks "you ok mommy?" It's cute, and I'm glad he's so vocal at 2, but it gets tiring answering questions all.day.long!
Hmmm, at this age there aren't too many annoying things he can do besides pee everywhere when I'm changing him or poop as soon as I get that clean diaper on. The little bugger always smiles when he does it too
She tries to throw herself off the changing table constantly. I hand her a toy, she chucks it and rolls again (as a cue to hand her another toy). Bad habit. She's also very interested in her vagina, but only when she's covered in poop.
My DD (3.5) is really into testing boundaries right now. She tries to be so manipulative! Yesterday she tried to move my Mac after I told her not to (one of the ones with the most massive screen you have ever seen). She ended up pulling it over on herself, and I now have huge bruises on my leg because I stuck my leg under it to try and stop it from crushing her arm. She started sobbing and apologizing right away. 15 minutes later I caught her trying to move it again.
Also, a couple weeks ago she got an American girl catalog with a $350 plastic doll car she wants in it (anyone else see that !?!?). When I told her no, she demanded that I bring her to daycare right away so I could go to work and earn more money to buy her that car.
Basically, she has been a brat lately and we are in major crack-down mode.

The 3 yr old does the opposite of what we ask him to do and laughs like a lunatic when we yell at him. He also screams in the house. He gets time out a lot.
The baby makes every diaper change/clothing change an ordeal by rolling, standing up, kicking his legs out of his shorts or pjs. He also is not napping in his crib well and is not ever going to sleep through the night-or so it seems.

This is hilarious. I can say that because it's happening to someone else.
DS1 is driving me crazy with the whining and backtalk. He also is in a room at school with six boys and one girl, so he's making guns out of everything from Legos to French fries (NOT happy about that) and constantly making superhero or truck noises. He moves up to a more gender equal room tomorrow and I'm stoked.
J, who has been completely potty trained for the last 2 months, has recently started going in his pants again. I'm about to lose my mind. He keeps asking for a diaper, but I refuse to regress. Ughhhhh!
My DD regressed to poop accidents a couple months after she was trained. Once I was sure it was a control issue (and not true accidents or something medically wrong) I started making her throw out her poopy underwear.
I told her that I didn't want to wash poop anymore, and so if her cute character undies got poop in them, they had to be thrown away, and she had to do it. There were some tears about Dora and the Princesses being thrown away, but it worked! After a couple favorite were tossed, the poop started going in the potty again.
(just an idea - I know how frustrating potty training regression is!)
The most annopying thing is the whining... and the erratic sleep. I wish she was doing better with potty training, but she's getting there slowly so I try not to get annoyed.
DD is in the "why?" phase. Ahhhh! Why? Why Why? I am running out of answers!
She is also very worried about rain/thunder/lightening. Every day she asks if it is going to rain. If it does rain or looks like rain while we are outside she flips out and demands to go home. I have no idea where this phobia came from.

I'm sorry Becca but I laughed SO hard. GO TO WORK AND MAKE ME THE MONEY MAMA!!!
okay DD hasn't developed any habits yet but I do get annoyed that she's always WIDE AWAKE after her nighttime feedings but sleepy most of the day. I love when she is awake and am sad I don't get to enjoy it more. She is awesome though and doesn't fuss and goes right back to sleep once you swaddle her and rock her a bit. So at least she's not crying or trying to play at 2am.
Oh some of these are so so funny. I am sure I will be eating my words when ds is a toddler. Ds gets so distracted in his high chair. I am trying to feed him & he is pulling stuff off the table, grabbing the dogs tail, & tring to pull the other kitchen chairs over on himself. Fun!
