How's it going so far this week?
My main focus this week is getting some more veggies and protein in. I realized yesterday that I made it basically all day with almost no veggies in my diet. I'm pretty sure that happened the day before too. Our kitchen is mostly packed up, so meals are all coming out of a package. I've started today off well and instead of my normal gluten free frozen waffles (read: zero nutrients), I got a bacon egg and veggie flatbread on my way into work. Still not the best choice, but a little better! If anyone has any ideas for no prep healthy snacks, do share!
My eating has been atrocious for the last week or so. When I get off kilter, I find it so hard to get back on track. I need to get back to tracking calories so I make smarter decisions. I think I'm going to let myself have today but than get back tomorrow.
I havent been to the gym much lately but I've been doing a ton of walking and tonight is softball practice. I think it will help me with my eating though to get back into my gym routine, so looking forward to that.

I started a new gym work-out which I'm excited about. Watching what I snack on is tough, I'm now finding that I snack more when I get home than I do when I'm work. I have to get more healthy things in the house.
@wonderingenough, I buy the individual packages of pre-sliced apples for lo, and most groceries have pre-sliced fruit and veggies in the produce section, that might work.
I haven't done well all week. Workouts didn't happen and I ate whatever. Now that I am back on a normal schedule I am going to start going to the gym after work. Since it's warming up I am going to start going to the park to run on weekends.
Today I am meal planning for the weekend. I'm going to try and keep everything clean and healthy.
wanderingenough I am a fan of the 100 calorie packs of almonds. Other things I will grab are lara bars, fruit, or greek yogurt. I found 1 oz packs of jerky at Sam's club which work for both DH and I.
Damn Easter candy! Lol. I need to get better with my eating but it's hard not to reach for the quick foods when I'm exhausted and don't have a ton of time to cook. The weather hasn't been great either so I haven't been getting out. I want to go for walks but it's cold. Hopefully it will warm up soon!
