Gah. My OB called me about my results and it went straight to vm. I now can't talk to her until Monday.
My 21 day results were 8.2 which she said in an email is "normal". Dr.google tells me that different docs tend to look for higher scores for "good" ovulation. Anyone have any experience on what these numbers might mean? I was set to start clomid next cycle which has already been giving me anxiety.
I know I just need to talk to my doc (and I will) but you guys know so much
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

My 21 day results are generally in the 8-10 range and my doctor has also always told me it was normal. I know my doctor does look for above 12 during pregnancy. It somewhat on the low side, but think it is ok. There is likely no reason you can't move to Clomid next cycle, it may actually help your progesterone, it is supposed to help cause and strengthen ovulation. If you are worried just ask for the text again next cycle to give you more info.
I had my progesterone tested during back to back cycles on 7DPO, so about CD 21. One of the draws came back with progesterone at 8. something and my midwife said it was perfect (the other was 13). She said if I was on clomid or something else to supplement they would want to see it at 5 or better.
