I love that set. Mine came with the cedar instead of the grapefruit. I prefer teh grapefruit to teh cedar, but you're right that the cedar is nice for layering.
I got a sample of the cedrat enivrant with an order once. I loooooove it. And I want that set, and it's $50? Wishlisted.
Me too! I'm hoarding my little vial, until I can buy one the sets.
Every perfume I own has been discontinued, so I've been looking for a new one. I have weird skin chemistry, which turns most scents to musty geriatric, so I was pleased this one keeps its lovely scent.
Ohhh..ive been wearing a vial sample of the blood orange for the past couple of days and thinking that it might be the one for my summer scent. (Ive have a beloved winter scent -spicebomb - but its heavy as all hell and just feels wrong with the daffodils blooming)
I'm wearing the rose today. To me it is pretty, but also quite earthy. It is much more rose in dirt than rosewater on my skin. I would try to try it before buying based upon your concern.
Boo, okay, thanks for the review.
There is a fragrance called Roses de Chloe you may like. Very light yet rosy. Not musky at all.
I'm still in love with this btw. for people eyeballing it.
I'm wearing the pomelo today and I applied it a bit heavier than my immediate instinct in the hope of having it last. (i.e. applied to both wrists rather than one wrist and then dabbing/rubbing them together) I keep sniffing myself. It's so nice! Like, really pure bright citrusy scent with just enough "other" going on to make it interesting.
continuing to talk about how much I like this...I'm not really a perfume person, so for this ENTIRE sample set to be scents I like is mindblowing. I wore the rose yesterday. The actual rose scent faded pretty quickly, but what was left was his great spicy incense thing going on. It actually smelled like sandalwood to me, despite that not being in the description at all.
Whatever. It was like the grownup version of the incense sticks I used to buy in high school and I love it.
