What happens when you swirl it around? I looks like the pigment. And given it's not a typical lip gloss it might just be settling. If you want a lip gloss similiar to this this check out inglot. I've had mine a year and it hasn't settled like this.

When I swirled it around, it kind of mixed back into the gloss? But then I took the applicator wand out and you could see chunks on it. You can't tell in this picture very well, but if you looked at it up close, it looked just like bacteria colonies on a petri dish. Needless to say, I pitched it. It could have been the pigment, but I didn't want to take a chance with it.
It was probably just the pigment since it's a hologram type gloss. I probably would of played around with it a little longer to see if I could smooth it out.
I’ve never seen anything like this happen before. What could have caused it? I’m kind of perplexed about this. It’s one of those things that just makes you scratch your head.
