Hello everyone! I have been faithfully lurking for months and thought it was about time I introduced myself. I give you all a lot of credit for being so brave and posting your pics. Your makeup is inspiring. Taking a good makeup pic is harder than it looks too. The ones I tried today made me look deranged when smiling or angry. These two are the best of the bunch, which doesn't say much.
I absolutely love makeup but am an amateur. My daily routine is great lash mascara after curling lashes, Nars Deep Throat blush, some kind of nude eyeshadow all over my eye and then some sort of black shadow that I wet and applied as a liner. Today I also have on benefit ultra shines dancing queen lip gloss and a pixie eyeshadow duo that I got in a past tipsy bag (it is barely detectable on).
I have the best luck actually using benefit Brow zings to line my eyes because it is a softer color and I have a lot of control. My biggest issue is that I have small, close set eyes and Im always trying to open them up. Do you have any advice on an eyeshadow color or lining technique? Thanks!!!

You look great! It looks like you're doing all the right things for small eyes. Keeping liner to the outer half of the eye, not lining the waterline on bottom. I can't tell here if you're concentrating darker shadows on the outer v/outer 3rd, but that makes a big difference for me. (Keep dark colors away from the insides of your lid.)
I am glad you are joining in and you look great! Nice job with the tutorial inspired look:) I am on my phone so the picture is fairly small, so forgive me if you already did this and I don't see it. A light, shimmery color on the inside corners can work wonders:)
