Will mint cord/jeans still be in this fall?

I was a little late to the party and recently bought a pair of mint matchstick cords at the JCrew outlet. They are pretty adorable and I'm hoping to wear them into the fall. Will it scream out "spring" or do you think the trend will carry over?

Cords in themselves are a cooler weather fabric, so I think you can definitely carry it over. You can further transition it to fall by pairing the mint with darker colors like navy, brown or teal. You can also tone it down with fall neutrals like grey or camel.

Pair them with fall colors and I think they will transition nicely. (Although, I might just be wishfully thinking because I have yet to purchase mint jeans and I really want to.)
