I managed to make it to Sephora this past weekend and remembered to pick up some eyeshadow primer when I bought the Naked2 to accompany my Naked3. But I realized I have no idea which order to put things on. I don't always use primer, but I usually wear foundation and concealer. Do I do primer, eyeshadow primer, foundation, concealer, etc. etc.? Should I put on the primer after the foundation and concealer?
I have no idea what I'm doing, I'm like those guys who made over their girlfriends and they all looked like Mimi from The Drew Carey Show.

I do moisturizer, face primer (when I wear it), foundation, concealer, powder, eye primer, eyeshadow. But I do my face before my eyes. Others prefer to do eyes first so they can clean up any fall-out. Just as long as you don't put foundation over your eye primer (i.e., as long as eyeshadow goes right over primer), you're fine.
Primer only goes on your lids. You really don't need to put concealer or foundation on your lids.
ETA: That was not intended to sound bitchy. LOL. Put primer on right before shadow. It's what helps the shadow stay put.
Well when I use regular primer, it's the Almay combo stuff that is green for redness (I have a spot of red dry skin on my face I can't get rid of) and purple for brightening, so I use that all over. And foundation all over. My eyelids are like an extension of my dark circles at this point, so I occasionally did use concealer on my eyelids when I wasn't going to be wearing eye makeup (some days, I just do.not.care). I haven't used the eyeshadow primer yet because I haven't figured out the order lol.
In that case...the more you put on your lids, the more likely the shadow will melt off. Eye shadow primer should be able to replace foundation primer, foundation, and concealer. If you want to put all the stuff on, I recommend this order: face primer, foundation, concealer, eye primer, eye shadow. Face primer helps foundation stick to your skin and stay put. Concealer is a little bit of extra that foundation doesn't correct. Eye primer makes the eye shadow stick to your lids.

Thanks, I'll skip everything but the eye primer when I start using it.
I often use concealer all over my eyes since I was blessed with looking like I have slept in 20 years. It helps make me look so much more awake. I put on my face primer, concealer, then my eye primer on over that and I find it doesn't budge.

Same here. There's a lot of space between my eyelashes and my eyebrows, so I look discolored if I don't use foundation on my eyes. As long as I put eye primer on my lids over the foundation, I don't have a problem.

I'm glad I have company with this issue, although wouldn't with my dark circles on anyone! They are such a pain in the ass. If I go out without makeup, I look awful, plus I think it emphasizes my resting bitch face.
