My federal and one state have been filed - we are expecting refunds from those. I have the check from the other state on my desk right now because I don't feel like walking over to the post office in the rain. I hope I don't forget about it.
I filed at 11:30 last night. Federal refund is being direct deposited. I owe the state, and for the first time had them auto debit my account since I decided going to the post office today wasn't in the cards. I then efiled our local taxes and found out they take cc payments with no additional fee. So I owed them about $1600 between the rest of 2014 and our 2015 Q1 estimated payment. Put that right on the cc for the miles. I'll take it! I was about even overall, but then out another $800 for the estimated tax payment. Can't complain (except that we got hit with AMT for the first time ever (wilted))
Our taxes are filed...early for the first time in a long time. We over paid each quarter because I did NOT want to owe again this year. So we got a little back yay!
We still haven't funded our IRAs. Procrastination...which caused us to not be able to get our bank verified fast enough so we have to mail checks. But those are packed away somewhere still and I don't have a car to get to the bank (1 mile) to get a certified check. H is on his way to Dallas but thinks there's one near him and a post office at the airport. So he's going to try to get it in the mail today. If not then I'm going to have to suck it up and make the walk.

I walked over to the post office so the check is on the mail. One of the big pluses to working on a college campus is an on-campus post office with no line on days like this
I've filed but the auto-debit is scheduled for today. DH got all worried about it being late (we've never owed before), so I am reassured that many of you mailed your checks today.
I haven't. And we are (almost certainly) getting a refund for the first time in awhile. Life just got busy! I may not even get it done today; I'm going to be flying home from a conference mid day and DH desperately needs a break from the baby. I just hope TurboTax doesn't somehow come up with a radically different number after entering our final little things we needed to take care of.
I'm submitting tonight. I've been so busy doing other people's taxes that I almost forgot about my own. I also procrastinated because we owe this year.
They're sitting in envelopes on my desk right now. Just need to walk down to the Post Office. Stupid person filed with DH's SSN so we weren't allowed to e-file.

Someone filed with DH's SSN, too. I'm not sure about mine yet, but we know DH's was used because yesterday he got a Green Dot rechargeable debit card in the mail. Apparently it's super easy for the scammers open up one of these cards, the refund is direct deposited on it and they immediately transfer the money somewhere else.
So, keep an eye on your mail. We almost threw it out as junk until I googled it.

Filed yesterday and off to the PO today to send in my EFT form to pay my CA taxes. Ugh I did manage to get Intuit to waive the state filing fee so that saved me $25.
