Well, I don't need it, but would it be completely pointless to get it? I have some birthday money and I'm debating between the Nordstrom Naturals palette and the cool neutrals one.
I'm a bit of a palette junkie and definitely don't need anymore neutrals (for example I have all of the naked palettes, both chocolate bar palettes, etc) but I have zero MAC eyeshadows. Given what I already have is having something like this completely ridiculous?
I think temptalia said it was chalky and not very pigmented.
Did she do a review for the Nordstrom exclusive one? I couldn't find it. I did just see the one for the cool neutrals and I think that one will be easy to pass up now.

I found this review for one of the palettes. I'm not sure if it's the Nordstrom exclusive. I swear I saw another review that was for another MAC nude palette but I can't find it.

I got the Nordstrom Naturals palette as a gift from my mom.
My take: the colors are beautiful. They are also not as easy to work with as the Nakeds, IMO. To me, some of the colors are nice and soft, but most feel drier than I'd like -- moreso the mattes than the shimmers. I have to make sure that I'm using a very stiff brush to work them out of the pan and get pigment on my eye that isn't patchy.
I dunno. I feel like for the price and the brand, I had higher expectations. Temptalia hasn't reviewed this one specifically, but it's up on the site for information. I saw a few mentions in the comments that MAC doesn't put the same quality into its palettes of permanent shades that it does with the singles, although no one has complained about the quality of this one as of yet -- I have no way to compare because I don't have any MAC singles, these are the first MAC shadows I've gotten.
It's not a complete dud. I can and do work with it and get good looks, and I think it has some great shades in it. But if I had spent my own money on it, it would probably have gone back.
I was debating on the Mac purples x 9, but then went with a clinique quad in going steady so I could get my mom the free gift. Now reading this I am glad I didn't buy it. Yet....
