I just dropped Baby S off at my moms for the first time. It kinda sucks.
She's thrilled to have him, and I'm sure they'll all be fine. But... I hate leaving him!

Good morning! I know it's hard but you're very fortunate to have him with family. You'll get through today and then each one will get a tad bit easier.

My day is going okay so far. Jelly Bean cares way too much about her clothes for a 28 month old. I give her choices and yet getting her dressed is a total PITA some days. Today she picked out a skirt so I helped her put it on. I come back 5 minutes later and the skirt is off and she's saying "no skirt, no skirt" and is holding shorts. Okay, fine. Shorts it is. Shorts, butterfly wings, and buggy antenna headband. Whatever, at least she is at school ;-)

Mandy-- hope your pick-up is as sweet as your drop-off was painful. The first few times can be rough.

We're doing well this morning, though I am NOT feeling ready for Monday morning. Just a few more days in each weekend, and I'd be doing well!

The first few days are the worst but it does get better. We just dropped E off for camp at her new school this morning and she barely looked up when we left. I am not sure what is worse a bad sad drop off or one that your kid seems happy to be rid of you.
