How soon did you leave your baby overnight?

DD was over a year, but I didn't respond well to my breast pump and had supply issues.

I still haven't. My H works overnight so if I were to leave my mom or someone would have to come and watch him. My mom has indicated that she is willing and I may need to travel for work so I've been saving up my good favor with her until it's absolutely necessary.

My son is 2.5.

I left him overnight at 3.5 months for a girls night out

I went away for 5 nights on business when he was 5 months old (have made several subsequent trips)

and mH and I went away for 2 nights together when he was 6 months old.

I promise I am not trying to be a mommy martyr but I really can't foree us doing this until the kid is in elementary school (or at any age where they begged me to let them spend the night, if that happened earlier) But my grandparents never took us until that age, so I think it is just what I am used to.

Also, I am the only one that can calm DS at night. He just claws at DH and screams until he gets the boob.

The first time I left my first was when she was 15 months, and I didn't have a choice because I was at the hospital to have my second. The second time we've left them both was when they were almost 3 and 4. I dont really like to do it, I miss em too much

My son is a year and I still haven't left him overnight. The longest I've done is like 6 hours.

At 5 months for two nights but that is only because I had to come to Denver to find us a house-we were relocating. DH stayed home with the kids. I would love to get away for a long weekend later this summer or in the fall when they turn one but we will see.

We have not as my parents live out of state and my inlaws are well...different. I am now ready for a break.

4 months. But I am a huge proponent of having couple time alone, overnight.

I flew up to NYC for a 24hr trip when DS was 12wks old. It was for an interview and networking and I was pretty excited to go. I did miss him terribly and called/texted my mom and DH while I was away.

After that, DH and I both left DS with my ILs when he was 5mos old to spend a night hanging out with friends in NYC. We had a blast!

It's weird, but I am far more willing to leave LO for a week long trip than DH. I think it's b/c I am home with DS all day long and am happy to get the break. DH, on the other hand, only gets a few hours a day with him at most. I told DH we're going on a 4 night romantic getaway very very soon dammit.
