Yeah, it's gut-wrenching to watch the news these days. We're fine because the attacks are against other Africans. A good friend of ours is Eritrean and lives in Joburg. She's very scared. Most of the violence is there and Durban. Cape Town, where we are, has luckily not seen too much.

But we've been in Europe for the past 2.5 weeks and without much media connection. I will have to see how our other colleagues and friends are doing and what the atmosphere is around here.

Glad to hear you are safe and sound. It must be hard knowing friends might be affected and having little or no media coverage. When do you head back to Cape Town?

We're back now. Cape Town seems to be doing ok. Hopefully, things will calm down elsewhere soon.
