We are buying a condo and this thing is mounted inside the door of one of the kitchen cabinets. What on earth?

I can't tell the relative size... but could it be for holding mail?

I was going to suggest that it holds a clothes iron, but it doesn't look sturdy enough.

So there is one of these in a different cabinet, so this is probably not for that. The tabs are sort of flimsy, my first thought was maybe for recipe/note cards. Seems like it could work for a mail holder.

Sippy cup holder is an interesting guess... I wonder if it could work to hold lids of Tupperware or something... Hmm.

Can I ask my realtor to ask the seller??
