For reasons not worth explaining, because I don't entirely understand myself, one of my MAC eye shadows pans has become lodged behind my sliding bathroom mirror. I think we are going to have to remove the entire sliding door to get it.
ETA: why did my wonderful iPhone emojis turn into question marks? Boo!

I dropped my Mary lou-manizer and it smashed into a shimmering powdery mess all over my bathroom floor. This was a few months ago and I still haven't gotten around to replacing it.
I got this beautiful limited edition purple mauve bluish with golden shimmer from a friend in Germany and it arrived smashed. I did the the alcohol and pressing but it's not the same.
I dropped a tube of lipstick not long ago in the drain. What a mess that was. From now on I’m going to put the stopper in the sink before doing anything.
Back in college my dog got into my then-boyfriend's mom's makeup bag. We got back from vacation and the dog was pink. She had chewed up every blush and then rolled in the mess.
We washed her weekly and it took about a month for her to return to normal dog color.

I have an arrangement of clear Lucite drawers, brush holders, makeup holders, etc. on my bathroom counter. Saturday I was getting ready to go out. I had my head flipped over, and was putting product in my hair, when I knocked my Coke over and into the Lucite. Of course it got on, in, and under all of it. I had to stop what I was doing to clean it, which made me late to leave. It was a huge PITA putting my makeup on when everything was in wrong places. I considered leaving it until we got back, but it was regular Coke, and I just knew we'd come home to a bajillion ants if I did that. I still haven't put the set-up back together.
Lancôme has a serum that comes in a glass bottle. It's not cheap. I knocked a brand new bottle off my counter and it shattered on the floor.
Also, Benetint used to come in a glass container. I took it on vacation with me and it shattered in my bag. Everything got pink. It was a brand new bottle, too. I actually wrote to Benefit about that complaining that the packaging should be travel friendly. Lol

That reminds me, I dropped a brand new bottle of Lollitint underneath my desk at work. Probably half the bottle dumped on the carpet. There's a bright purple-pink stain under there.
I was really bummed when someone used my Stilla magnificent metal Kitten eye shadow, and poured the entire bottle of primer into the shadow. It destroyed the eye shadow, and I had only used it once at that point. I was PISSED.

WHO WOULD DO THIS?!
There is a reason I no longer talk to this person The makeup thing was a big eff up on her part, in a pattern of many.
