If you had to pick Colour Pop or MUG...

Which would you pick? (eye shadow only)

I've decided to try some of one of these brands. They are a very similar price point, and both have a shipping min so I'd prefer to buy several from one of them instead of a few from each brand. 

Pros/Cons of each?

MUG. I like ColourPop quite a bit but I don't find the shadows easily blendable. MUG makes traditional powder shadows that blend easily, and the quality is excellent.

I don't know MUG but I'm not a fan of colourpop eyeshadow. They might apply better with your fingers but I hate doing that. I can't get good coverage with a brush.

I haven't used colour pop, but recently got a bunch of MUG and they are amazing shadows. Super buttery, pigmented and blend like a dream, I plan to order more.

I like what I've received from ColourPop, but I don't LOVE it. I hate the clunky packaging. All and all, the stuff is an OK deal, but IMHO, overrated. I don't think I will place another order unless there is some amazing sale.

So my vote is for MUG, even though I haven't tried it.

They both seem like different products. CP is creamy, MUG is powder (my understanding anyway).

I agree the packaging is clunky, although I have multiple Paint Pots and Color Tattoos that are even bigger and heavier, so I guess I'm just used to this being the case for cream shadows.  That said, CP could seize an opportunity here and sell containers to store the shadows.  At the moment I have most of mine in a large ziplock baggie, all facing the same way so that I can see the colors and pick which ones I want at any given time.  It's not my favorite storage method.  ^o)
