I bought some of the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and it's just slightly too light for my face. Will they let me return or am I out of luck? Such a bummer because I really like the product otherwise.

Yes, they'll let you return/exchange it.
I've found they aren't as enthusiastic about it as Sephora (where they seem almost thrilled to take your return), but they haven't given me any problems.
Yes, if you have the receipt. They usually seem a tad irritated by it. I'm going to return the Maybelline fit me matte and poreless. It's a terrible foundation for my skin
I know its been to late but "Sharing is caring". You can return an item or product if you are in 60 days return policy while returning you need to carry a receipt in order to have a full refund. In case if you misplaced the receipt or purchase receipt then you can still return it but you need to be return policy and the refund provided to you will be in the form of store credit. You can return a product or item bought from Ulta to the Ulta store or by email. There are certain points to consider on Ulta Store Return Policy.

This is one of the weirdest accounts I've seen here. 4 posts and every single one of them is providing a link to a return policy on a zombie thread. Mmmmkay....
