So I'm visiting Chicago next week and we will be cabbing and walking a lot. I want to be cute but also comfortable. I don't really do flip flops except at the pool, don't like flats too much as I think they make my feet look wide, 4 inch wedges are really my go to shoe, but just not sure how comfortable they will be after hours of walking.
I don't have or really have a liking for Sperry's but will get a pair just for the trip, if they come highly suggested.
Basically anything from the walking company is my go to shoe for lots of walking like when i go to Vegas. Except about 80% of the shoes they sell are ugly.
I have these Sam Edelman sandals and they are my fave "running errands" sandal. They're not flip flops and give me just enough height and have just enough bling to make me feel dressier even tho these shoes are really effortless.
Ive worn these to baseball games before (when we have to park almost a mile from the stadium) and my feet are perfectly comfortable. Totally recommend.
It's looking like next week will be upper 70s/low 80s. Do you have any flat sandals you like?
Personally I wouldn't plan on doing a wedge all day.
Yay. I'm glad it's cooling down. I've been out of town and haven't been paying attention to the weather back there.
I only have three pairs of shoes that can survive a day of walking, shopping, and EL riding. A pair of Toms, gold pair of sneakers from Born www.6pm.com/born-kai-panna-cotta-metallic, and a pair of generic black sneaker/flat hybrid from Sketchers.

Do you want a sandal or a flat? I really like driving mocs or ballet flats. The comfort brands - Born, Merrell, Sofft and Clarks all make cute shoes that are also really comfortable. For sandals, I really like Born or B.O.C. which are a little cheaper and just as cushy. I get my B.O.C sandals at DSW.

I'm not glad it's cooling down!! There are only so many beach weekends left!
And ditto on the TOMS suggestions. I think I'm going to cave and get a pair for our Ireland in a month.

If you've got a Macy's near you, check out their "comfort" section. There you will find lots of options for walking. A lot of them are fug, but there's some cute options too.
