For those of you who pump at work, what do you store your pump, parts, and pumped milk in?
I am considering buying a large lunch box, which will fit the pump itself, the various parts, an ice pack, and the pumped milk. This seems like a good solution to me and will keep me from having to carry multiple bags. The only problem I'm seeing is storing the pump in the same bag as the ice pack. Do you think the cold will harm the pump motor?
I have a Medela cooler bag for the milk itself. I will hopefully only pump twice a day at work, so I may just clean them in between. I'll need to clean at the end of the day anyway since I use a hospital pump at home.
I use the tote bag that came with my PISA. I store my parts in a Tupperware in the fridge and my milk in my Medela cooler. Everything fits in the tote.
I leave my PISA at work, but I keep that in a separate bag with an extra set of parts plus bags and stuff. Ironically, I got an insulated bag that contained a formula sample while PG and I have been using that plus one of the Medela ice packs and I put the whole thing with parts in the fridge between sessions.
That said, I doubt the cold would damage the pump...
Small soft-sided cooler. A bit bigger than a lunch box.
Eta: no I don't think the cold will harm the motor. I might worry about condensation; does your actual motor have a case around it? Mine has a little divider thing that separates it from the rest of the bag.

Yes, it does have a case around it. I just unvelcro a flap to plug it in. It's a Medela.
I like the idea of a tupperware for the parts. I didn't think of that.
I'll just get a small, insulated lunch box to store the milk, I think. I don't think I'll have access to a fridge, but a couple ice packs should be fine.
I was just poking around the Internet and saw a blog where a woman said she used a wet bag--this seems like a really good alternative to a zip lock! It's opaque and reusable.
I have 2 that I had registered for to use with diapers, but the small one is really too small for that purpose and both are still unused. I think I'm going to give that a shot.
