I know this question gets asked a million times, but I've yet to find the perfect bag and hoping someone here has a suggestion. Here what I am looking for:
- everyday/work tote bag that also fits a 15 inch, fairly think laptop (as in not a macbook) - doesn't need to have a particular laptop compartment/sleeve - not strictly a laptop bag but would also work as an everyday tote - handles that fit over your shoulder and a cross body/longer strap.
On a typically day I carry a wallet, card holder, sunglasses, kindle and two cellphones. Organizational pockets would be great, but not a neccessity.
The Lo & Sons Brookline tote is a bit bigger than what I'd want to use as a tote every day if I wasn't carrying a laptop around, but it is a fantastic laptop bag and would fit your laptop.
It is $195 I think, but they have 20 or 25% coupons on a somewhat regular basis.
Here's what mine looks like with my 15" Macbook Pro (which is not particularly thin because it isn't particularly new) in it:

Thanks v! I've looked at the Brookline many times but never pulled the trigger. Do the handles fit over your shoulder comfortably? They don't look long enough and Lo & Sons doesn't have many pictures.

Yes, they're plenty long for shoulders though when I'm carrying my laptop with me I usually use the long strap instead.
