I've done regular paddleboarding. It's difficult enough for me to balance standing up that I'm not sure I want to go on to Yoga Paddleboarding. I'd LOVE to hear about your experience, though!
Based on the classes I swim past sometimes in practice, be prepared to fall off a few times. Obviously, not everyone does fall every class, but I witnessed the instructor falling off last fall (during bow pose, FWIW) - so it's clearly an equal-opportunity happening.
