I'm a cold heartless bitch. This is the first time I've had tears streaming down my face from a tv show. Within 5 minutes of it starting. We were proud of you as an athlete nearly 20 years ago and we're proud so proud of you now!! Go Bruce
Yes. She and her are the correct pronouns now she's announced it.
OK, thank you. I hope that didn't come off as insensitive.
No, I don't think insensitive. Before he and him were appropriate because that's what the family was using and even though everyone was fairly certain she was transitioning, she hadn't announced it.
I know that this will be heavily edited in Bruce's favor but I just feel sorry for her.
What do you mean? There's another side to this?
Of course it's in his favor - it's his life!
I suppose that didn't come out quite right lol. I just view all things Kardashian related with a lot of skepticism. I thought this would be more tied to them.
65 fucking years of waiting, and probably (likely) due in large part to societal pressure. I know it's not the point, because she is now living the life she was born to live, but Jesus it just makes me feel shitty about the kind of society we live in.

I was touched with his "and that's very hard for Bruce Jenner to say". It's clear he's made some distance between the BJ we/he knew and what she knows.

I've mentioned this a few times, but one of our friends is FTM. He grew up in a rural part of Kentucky and is fully supported by his family. And his wife was dating him when he was female and has stayed with him throughout the entire process. Their wedding, which happened after he transitioned, was one of the most beautiful I've ever been to and filled with so much love.
I love that she said she is being public about her transition in part to make a difference. I truly hope that this helps some transgender people feel less isolated.
