Still trying to follow the schedule set up by the program. I've missed a day here and there and I've decided to cut back to 5x per week (instead of 7x).
The plan is as follows, however, I'm on day 2 of food poisoning symptoms so tomorrow and Tuesday are really up in the air.
M - TRX and barre Tu - barre W - TRX Th - barre F - express barre and pilates reformer
A fitness site I subscribe to is also starting a 2 week metabolism makeover challenge tomorrow, which I'm going to attempt. The exercise portion amounts to about 30 minutes of pilates/barre each day alternating between upper and lower body.
Sun - 4.25 mile run plus yoga Mon - Rest Tues - hope to make it to yoga after work (doubtful) Wed 3.5 mile run Thurs - Body Pump Fri - 3 mile run , yoga class Sat - Pilates Class
Did a ton of yard work today, so I consider that a workout!
Monday- Core class over lunch. Tuesday- maybe trying body pump for the first time! Wed- Core Thursday- maybe body pump Friday- rest Sat- some morning class at the Y!
They are getting rid of the morning class I take on Sat. after May, so I am going to try body pump since that's offered early on Sat. Thought going over lunch would be the least embarrassing choice to get a little bit of understanding before hopping in on Sat morning?

It's been really hard for me to do any real exercise with both boys. I emailed the club near us with awesome childcare, hoping to tour it this week. I miss working out.
Does anyone know if I can sync c25k on my phone in some way? I use map my run with pandora now. I'm phone dumb. I can do a 5k but it involves more walking than I'd like. Basically i want a phone voice to yell at me to run, lol.
I know you have to be able to do since when I did it many years ago I had that person tell me to run while running. And I know I had music on and she just piped in with "being running"... Do you have the app?
I plan to go for 3 walk-runs, weather and baby permitting. I'm starting the c25k again, more or less. I'm hoping I haven't completely lost my ability to run and can jump into week 3 or 4. Signed up for a race in July so I better get started! Hopefully ds2 likes the jogging stroller.
I wish. I have no childcare to speak of until late in the week, assuming that I can get the vaccination forms filled out by the pedi in time for DS to start in daycare by Thursday. And I will be so behind on work by then that I don't think I can get away to the gym or a yoga class during the day.
No coverage at all any evening this week.
But, I did go for a run on Saturday. Then proceeded to drink more calories than I burned that evening.
starlily what website do you belong too? That sounds like a cool 2 week program.
Monday: Arms and Abs Hiit Tuesday: Full Body Interval Wednesday: Legs Hiit and cardio Thursday: Run or Elliptical Friday: Arms and Cardio Saturday: Run
I'm hoping DH gets home early enough for me to hit the gym for a strength class tonight. He is not aware of my plan for him to be in charge of kids practices though, so I'm not optimistic! Run: T (8), W (5), Fr & Sa (3), Su (13.1 race) Strength: 2x

I have a working out conundrum today: My grip and forearms are really sore from doing yard work this weekend, so much so that holding a pencil or doing anything with a steady grip really hurts. Today's planned workout from NROLFW has several exercises that I wouldn't be able to perform correctly, especially deadlifts, because of my grip. I will probably take another rest day or two, but is there a way to stretch your hand and forearm?? Lol
My race was yesterday so I'm not planning on lacing up my running shoes until Wednesday at the earliest. I may try some light cardio at the gym tomorrow to get my legs moving though...we'll see.
Ok. My run is done. Biggest challenges this evening? Not the freezing wind (thermal headband with ear covers), not the real feel temp of 30F (thermal top), not my poor pelvic floor muscles (kegels en route) but my knickers!!! Rising up and giving me a wedgie!!!
M: cardio DVD T: run with jogging stroller? W: hopefully swim R: nothing F: probably a DVD Sa: nothing Su: half marathon
Good luck on Sunday!! Let us know how you get on.
Thanks! I just decided to do it on Friday, so haven't quite tailored training to it (I'm gearing up for a sprint tri soon), but I felt pretty good after 10 miles on Saturday so I think I'll survive. Pretty sure cinco and I are running the same one, and I can say with total confidence even if she runs on one leg she'll beat me by at least an hour.
Today I ran four miles on a hiking trail while pushing DS in the jogging stroller. I plan to do this again three to four more times this week. I also did some ab work. I will also be doing some weights at home a few times this week.

Monday, bar method and two mile walk Tuesday, six mile run and bar method Wednesday, bar method Thursday, bar method and two mile run Friday, three mile run Saturday, rest Sunday, flying pig half marathon. My goal is 2:15. I had a 2:03 as my first and last year I ran/walked a 2:28. With my injuries, 2:15 works.
