Last ultrasound didn't go over so well, baby was taking a nap and being stubborn! A bunch of you guys guess if it would be a boy or girl, most of you said boy..
This time...baby cooperated! We had a little wiggle worm, thanks to the sugary caffeine packed breakfast I had this morning. Everything looked GREAT - however the umbilical cord might be missing one of it's two arteries and we might have to see a special ultrasound tech. No one seemed worried - the worse case is the baby would be missing one kidney, but both were present and functioning, so we might just end up with a smaller sized baby! Tech said its possible she just missed it (can't see it) but I'll prob see the other guy just to be sure!
SO! You're probably all waiting anxiously for me to get on with it - since I"m rambling on and on and on...
WELL...It's finally my turn to announce!
IT'S A....GIRL! 7th generation first born girl! So excited and I bought a cute dress and pink bear slippers for her today!
Congratulations on having the 1st girl. (I know the feeling, my son is the first boy everything, which at the moment does nothing for "don't hit girls" if every cousin he has is a girl, he has no clue what playing with a boy as opposed to a girl even is at all *smh*)
“Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make it so, right in the middle of it lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.” - Natalie Goldberg
Congratulations! When I was pregnant with my son there was only a two vessel umbilical cord, too. He turned out just fine, 6 lb 13 oz, no issues at all. Good luck!
Thanks! H and I "knew" it was the girl name when we were thinking of ideas. It was the first name we thought of and both loved it! We never did decide on a boy name!

You already have a name?!? I envy you! We were lucky to have a first name picked out when I was 38 weeks. We didn't have a middle name until she was already born.

H and I played a "game" where you each pick 5 names and compare lists (we never could think of boy names!) Emily was the #1 choice on each of out lists - and we said Ann for a middle name at the same time! It was meant to be!
