LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint? + alt. drugstore liquid lip stuff

I've seen these compared to the Melteds a few times.  Superficially they appear to be similar.  I've also seen them compared to an OCC lip tar, which I've never tried.

tube container, liquidy sorta thing, supposed to set down but still be shiny?  super pigmented...I'm intrigued.

Also they're cheap.  But they're only at rite aid as far as I can tell and I don't shop there regularly so I can't decide if they're worth a special trip.  I could order online of course.

To me these are OCC dupes. They are not even close to Melted styled. I really like them, they are good! Stay away from J. cat ones I've had no luck.

I'll come in and attach a photo in a minute. But Ulta has a little Limited Edition set 3 colors, a primer, and a brush for $10 I paid less than $7 when I used their $3.50 off coupon. And the one color I tried was great!

Also, I've seen those LA Girl ones at Kmart if you have that or still have that. But I've ordered them from their website. Also occasionally they are on Groupon Goods.

I'm intrigued by the Rimmel now. I like the one J. Cat lip paint I have, but I don't like the packaging. I need an applicator.

I've tried these, and they are nice. Nothing like my occ lip tars though although the minty flavor is same. I've never tried the melteds.

I think it's LA Colors at Kmart, not girl. LA colors is apparently crappier than Girl.

They carry little displays of LA Girl Lip Paints. They dot have a large display like the LA Colors. The LA Girl products are just occasionally set up on the end shelves.

I picked up an LA Girls Glazed lip glosses in Peony (?) at a little boutique makeup store here. It was super cheap- like $7 I think. It's very pigmented and shiny. I went back to grab a few more but none of the colours jumped out at me.

::chiming in from s&B::  i have 2 of these, and the colors are great but they smell TERRIBLE. like so so chemical-y, it's awful.  the matte ones barely smell at all, so it's weird these are so gross.

and the milani colors referenced in the blog post are awesome, but only come in 4 colors.  they're more like a melty lipstick texture versus a liquid, but i love them.

I got a 3 pack of the LA girl lip paint from Amazon- I think they were $10 total for 3 of them?

I hate them. They're messy, too much product comes out at once so they're hard to apply. And they feather on me, even with liner, and end up everywhere. They don't really settle into my lips, they sit on top, so they get very smeary on me.

They're kind of like a bad lip gloss. Coffee break with dani on youtube did a review of them and I agree with her. I wouldn't buy them again, even though they are cheap.

ETA: Not long wearing at all. Maybe 30 minutes on me?

wawa I apply with a lip brush. I don't remember wear time at all. It's been awhile since I've worn one.

Just my finger. It lasts a couple of hours and leaves a stain so usually gloss over it works for me

The Milani melted dups are supposed to be good. I may try the fuschia one since the real melteds formula change and they aren't worth it.

ummm...no. You go be the guinea pig. Bailey from making up the Midwest said the paints had about an hour or so staying power.
