Recently I was on the waitlist for 4 months. The only way to get off early was to email 10 facebook friends an ipsy link. I finally emailed customer service and complained about that being the only way off the waitlist, and they activated my membership.

in the last few months they've changed it. You can no longer just post to facebook then make the posts private, you have to PM actual people. And they have to be women(I wanted to send a dummy message to H, but no go)
I kind of went off on them via twitter. They suck in this regard.
I signed up in December and got my first bag in April.

I complained on Twitter too, but that didn't get me anywhere. That's not how waitlists should work! Then it's not a waitlist, it's blackmail so that people do marketing for them.

Tell them you want to quit your subscription. They'll send you a form email promising to get you off of it immediately.
Good luck if you actually want to be left alone, though. Those motherfuckers still email me, like "LOOK WHAT YOU COULD BE GETTING!" And I'm all "FUCK NO I AM NOT SPAMMING MY FRIENDS TO GET THEM TO BUY A SERVICE I DON'T UNDERSTAND YET".
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
