My 20 month old would want to be able to swing higher, and that seems like it would be awkward to push. Do you have a porch or tree that you could get a swing for?

I'm really not even very interested in the swing part -it's the slide part that I think he'd like, which makes me think I should just keep looking.

We actually have that exact slide by itself with no swing. It has a climbing wall-type ladder and a boat steering wheel at the top. I bought it at Home Goods maybe 3 years ago for ~$30.
I'd just keep looking for a slide if you're not very interested in the swing part. My 2yo likes "big boy" swings now. So it's possible you'd only get one season of use out of that swing. Also, I think it wouldn't be very comfortable to push since it's so low to the ground.
If you look on Craigslist, you can find much better slides/climbers. I got the classic Little Tikes cube climber for $40, I think (they make a triangular one now and discontinued this type). Also lots of stand-alone slides for toddlers.
We have this one and I wouldn't go smaller. I like some of the stand alone slides that I've seen, but mine was $5 at a thrift store, so I went for it.
We just got DD. (3 yrs) a my first jump and swing but we changed the swing to this style mainly so DS could use it but she loves it! And she had fallen off the other swing a few time so I'm glad we switched.
